That’s the real truth! My dad’s place has a Huge one like 12 ft tall with buckets of them .
Those are the first seeds I’ve made outdoors in spring from pollinating an early bloomer. Now I’m going for the reveg ftw!
Yeah, I’ve seen the freezing pictures
Two harvest a season that’s a good trick you have.
i see peppers!
the aji doing good in your garden?
When you do your peppers for the first few weeks do you top yours a few times?
This season my first round of peppers failed , so I’m just getting the second flat out last week. I don’t top them , but I sometimes pinch off the first few blooms and they branch out. Tomatoes take 5-6 weeks to get big enough to transplant, Peppers take 8-10 weeks imo.
did you get 100% germination?
i planted 8 and all 8 popped on my end. i was really surprised. i did not store these seeds very well.
Yes , practically All of the ones sprouted and are doing well.8 for 8 as well.
Damn that’s a lot of beans.
Mrs Hashpants helped me pick , it’s been a bit since she last helped. It was nice to share the time. Took about an hour to get 20 pounds .
That’s a fine haul for an hour! Plenty of deliciousness there!!
First thing I ever picked commercially was green beans. Summer of 1965 outside of Eugene, OR. That’s not really that much! ![]()
And my first garden was pole beans when I was eight years old.
Fuck, what’s with me and green beans?! HA! ![]()
I’ve heard they lose some nutrients when you cook them, so I hit the bong and then breath all the steam coming off them. I like how clean they are early season!
