I joined in 2004 when I did my 1st grow but didn’t really participate much, mainly lurked grow diaries and replicated what I learned from them.
When it disappeared I signed up on riu, icmag and a couple others, did a few grows for about 2 years then stopped.
And only found it back about 2 weeks ago while googling the stain I want to restart growing with.

Stumbled upon it some years back…never took much notice as it didn’t appeal as much as icmag. Fast forward some years and bang I come across Mrsparkle and his bud porn… and got the nerve to register after years of lurking
In the very short period of time that i have been here, I have had a blast with some of the users. Learnt some more, and hopefully have given some info useful for others either for entertainment or actually useful

I can’t remember now, but probably google. I’ve been on another forum for a few years and it got super slow. All of the members jumped to a private forum. Not my thing.
I think I was just looking for info on a weed strain, likely. I knew of Overgrow but thought it was still closed. So, I definitely stumbled in over here. So glad I did. Lots of good stuff going on here.

As I remember it, I got an email from someone suggesting I take a look at Overgrow. So, I did and am sure glad I followed up. OG has the most knowledgeable folks anywhere. I’m on here a lot and soaking up the wisdom as best i can. Add to that the seed giveaways and how can anyone beat that. I’m here for the long run.

One day I woke up and thought to myself, out of the blue… I wonder what happened to Overgrow? I put the web address into my browser and WHAM!!! I couldnt believe my eyes. I remember the days hanging out with Shebang, and RC, and all them kickass growers. I wonder what happened to em?.. Hmmm.

Found an excellent bonsai guide. Tracked it back to its source. Read more and decided to stick around. Loving it. Only hurt for a stoned minute but that passed when I muted the Shark Tank.

It figures. I’ve been trying to dig out a financial hole for a while and I’m the poorest I’ve been in my entire life. It’s getting better. I secured a house and better vehicle so, one step at a time. I found overgrow when i was on marc emery’s seed store (im old) and looking at Jokers mix pack (f2’s of good strains randomly assorted in 10-20 seeds packs) and everyone at the time was saying man why don’t you carry BOG? This weed is old hat where is BOG seeds man?
And that led me to HS and I bought shit and it came!
Thus began my journey under ground and to OG and to blossoming into the OG fountain of strength and street knowledge I was meant to be.

I know of a grow-op that was trying to get hooked up with Emery. Dude that owns the place was telling me Marc will be in on the sales end of things. Not sure how things worked out, but it seems that Emery is still a player.

We are two medical patients just getting ready to grow for the first time. I found overgrow mentioned while reading about the care of cannabis plants, and looked it up. Then I started reading here. I am a naked baby bird when it comes to cannabis. I did start a seed a couple of weeks ago, about 6 weeks early for legal med grow. After all that reading, I could not help myself. I do feel out of place here, so that probably means this is where I should be reading more.

I started on I think it was grass city or something like that then riu damn immature group always a pissing contest over there
Then I found sannies open grow was there from 2012 I think till all the stupid shit started again though it was over but it started all over again
Then I saw that I may have been the last man standing so to speak and a good friend pointed me here only to fine this is were everyone went lol 
So you thought you could get away from me well I found all of you
And I’ve always been papalag on all the sites ( nothing to hide just me )

Crazy to think about sitting here on my mobile phone with it’s instant gratification speed that when I originally was on overgrow back in 01 or 02 it was on a Compaq crap box with dial up LMAO around mid 2001 I almost burnt my apartment down trying to run 2 1000w HPS analog ballast in a small sliding door closet the ballasts melted the carpet that like a dumb 19 year old kid I had sat right on the carpet inside the closet…that’s around the time I believe I went searching and stumbled upon OG…
