Best place to start is pushups and air squats. Work on your form and range of motion in those exercises. Slowly work up in reps/sets over time. Do this every other day. That’s just an easy at home way to go about it, you could always go at it more aggressively at home or in the gym.

I had never heard of this before so I googled it real quick. Now I’m wondering if there’s enough cinnamon in the medicated cinnamon candies I take every night to be giving me any of those benefits

I have lost 10+ pounds recently but I’m also working some long ass manual labor days too so not sure I can credit the cinnamon

So doing a 30 min bike or treadmill then 2000 stair in 30 min that’s what’s working for the little fat I could never ever cut with diet plus adding alot of abb work to build up the muscles it actually tightens the skin an fat looks less

Push aways are the best way to lose weight. Push yourself away from the dinner table. I know easy for me to say as the only thing I hate more than being fat is being hungry.

No car, grocery store 3.5 k away, walk there and lug back.
I realized quick not all food is equal. The energy out come varies.
So much so if I did not figure out the ideal foods to eat,
I would have soon not been in a healthy energetic condition to carry them home.
About every ten days i go and it is just that much tougher than anything I would normally do.
First trips took me a day or two just to recover. Sleep , ache. Now I am pumped when I get back I can jump into calisthenics and my core is already so engaged in the 3.5 k farmers walk I breeze through exercises with zero core weakness.
I do not buy the wrong foods. I have zero control. If there were 10 big bags of chips in my presents, i would eat them in a row before eating anything else. for example. I bought and ate 10 frozen pizzas in a row, to lazy to put effort in a cooked meal if I know I can just make quick food. I just ate 3 jars of crunchy peanut butter in 2 days, last week. I barely have a non vape, joint, food, coffee moment in a day. so I do not bring much home that is not healthy.

Frozen pizza tastes better cooked but I guess you would not eat them all at once if they are frozen

I try and avoid buying unhealthy food but the wife will ask for it when I shop, but as I am vegetarian and she is a carnivore, most of our meals are different but it’s tempting to help myself to her chips and chocolate when I get the munchies.

my secret is Muay Thai training at least 3x a week.
2h and occasionally run at least 1 x a week 6 km
If I do this I can eat and drink what I want.

She’s not a very good carnivore if she has chips and chocolate :stuck_out_tongue:

So far so good! Been maintaining the eating 1 big meal a day in the evening with snacks occasionally when my body tells me I need a little more fuel.

I also cut down on my coffee intake from 10-12 cups a day + espresso’s to 2x cups a day and 1 espresso to help with the sleep. THIS WAS HARDER THAN NOT EATING lol.

Otherwise my steady style of Rocky 4 “Russian Farmhouse” training is working as I’m down to 170 lbs of mostly muscle. As an example of this I water my outdoor plants by filling 5gal (approx. 42 lbs) buckets in my basement then walking them where ever they need to go in the yard.

I knew it was working when I though I under-filled a bucket one day and realized it was just the added strength

I’m no beefcake but the mesomorph body type with an Afrikaner-Slav build that keeps me surviving.

ha ha I cook them first, actually I load em up with more toppings, drizzle garlic oil on the crust and make my own dipping sauce. Vegetarian cool. I am sure it will be the future. most days I make a supper heavy on the veg and two pieces of fish. Fish is so loaded with garlic the fish could easily be replaced with an alternative protein I would not care. I got tired of buying bags of sugar for coffee and mathing up what that means as far as intake over a year so I gave it up but ya as a weed smoker I can get a little bonkers for sugar. Bonus fruit actually taste hella sweet now.

I can relate to most of this. coffee counts minus expresso. used to do the one big meal thing, now I just eat after some calisthenics or my days work out. Eating drains me so I avoid it until I am done. Need my eggs after, still go big dinner. It is good to get out of your comfort zones and do those bigger Rocky tasks for sure. It does bring up your overall strength and remind us we are aging but not aged out lol . I am a hard gainer, not mesomorph more Olive oil lol 6"1 weirdly narrow waist, 28" I think. Takes me throwing allot at this skeleton food, tasks to make changes good or bad. I needed something to burn junk wood saw a water heater I could fashion into a fire pit/barbeque ting on the curb mile from my house, threw it on my shoulder jogged it home. Felt good, looked crazy lol Worth it.

i do the one meal a day too its has alot of courses and lasts all day  well off to wallyworld for some new sweats…lol

Same!

FUCK YES!

My torso is stupid long versus my legs. I used to do jump rope exercises where i’d hold the rope in my hands with my hands TOUCHING thumb to thumb and then JUMP THROUGH my enclosed arms.

When I sit down and don’t slouch on purpose folks think i’m 6’6"+… but then I stand up and they all look surprised if they meet me sitting down lol.

My boss is 6’6" and sitting we are the same height but as soon as we both stand it’s like Laurel and Hardy lol.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :fist:

I have seen that torso effect with a very petite female my age I know, on a couch were peers, we stand up I am an adult she is a kid. ( height wise.)
The net kicks ass as far as info.
I have my more rare at least in North America body figured out. When I was young,
i t was weights, and chicken and pasta advice.Turns out I fair better with veg fish, no sugar and Calisthenics. I am mostly core, being stretched out , just holding form is an effort well enough to base a work out around. i am jonesing for a outdoor pull up bar. I guess a shrug bar spawning off one side as well.
