Well, if you look at the roots of the word “condom”, you end up with “con” & “dom”. “Con”, of course, is short for “convict”, which is to say, a prisoner. “Dom” or “dome”, is also known as a cupola, the curved structure that sits on top of many buildings, like the US Capitol Building.
So, altogether, you have a curved structure that holds a prisoner–a con-dome, if you will.

I smoke blunts too so not bashing, but aren’t they smoked usually to mask the taste of the low grade flower or what not used in them? Atleast wasn’t that the original idea of them? Or do people like the mixture of tobacco and bud…???

It hits you differently in my opinion. Here in the weed illegal uk we mix it to stretch out the bud. For a lot of years all we could get was solids like soap bar, pollen and rocky. Basically shit hash. If you wanted to smoke a joint you had to add tobacco to it. You’d put a layer of hash in your skins then put tobacco ontop then role a joint.

I smoke joints, a king size brow, a papper filter and a little piece of tabacco next to the filter, then the soup (weed or hash mixed with tabacco).

I see that being a very viable method for such products. People over here Covent them and think they are great, and use grade aaaa bud, only to have it taste like a popsicle lol… roll a phatty or a large cone lol. But I do see how it would help with bad grade hash and what not
