Hello. Hope I find you in fine fettle. This’ll be the diary of a persistent mistake maker and all round Heath Robinson enthusiast feeling his way ‘round the dark.
I shit my own hole full on my last effort by committing the mother of all sins. That being lights on intervals during lights out. I’ve given up trying to think how this happened because it was such a big fat kick in the bollocks.
Anyway, the plants remained in veg for over 3 weeks. I just thought they were slow to transition. The mild stretch I thought I’d been blessed with was all vegetative growth. I was suspicious after 12/14 days but thought patience being a virtue I’d just let nature take its course.
Eventually I undertook the humongous task of checking the timer, took all of 5 seconds and there, a solitary timer pin brought my world crashing down. Arrrrrrgh!!! Why didn’t I just check it before!
By this time the plants were enormous. Enormous and familiar. Ever get tired of the same plants and just ache for the next run? I thought fuck it. Chopped them down and rummaged for some fem seeds - of which I don’t have many nice ones.
Anyway I settled on -
24k - DNA
Rotten Apple - Perfect Tree
Pink Fritter - Karma
Sundae Float - Cannarado
Fatboy Shoes - Universally Creative (?)
I also put out some Crumbled Lime & Discobiscuit F2 - both have been crossed to a PsychoAnimalStomper x Moonshine Haze x Psychobadger male. I made these a while back. I have about 100 of the CL’s so I’m going to hunt for a nice male as I go popping a few each run. The last time I ran some a few smelled like lime pig shit so I’ll be on the lookout for those.
Just on a side note the Float & Shoes have been soaking longer than the others. I initially put only 2 of each out. I was looking forward to the Floats so when nothing was happening I threw in the whole pack. I have a bad feeling. I got them in a sale and although not old I’m wondering how well they’ve been stored. My Crumbled Lime went in water/h2o2 at the same time and since grew big tails and went in to plugs. Please Lord just one float. Just one.
The plan is to get these to germ. 10/14 days in little pots then up to 2L tall rose pots for 14 days or so. They’ll be fed via Topspin drippers once the time comes. I’ve never vegged so quickly but I’m running out of weed and dunno where I’d get some so I need to crack on. I won’t be able to flower everything but I prefer to have too many than not enough.
