You should stick to your feeding schedule always. Never flush. Flushing will cause problems. Did your soil dry out at all? If so the burn is because all the microorganisms died and released an excess of nutrients to your plants. Good castings is your best bet. Malted barley also will help. You seem to already be doing the right thing:)
