Howard's run of Marauder by Baked Beanz

Damnit one was a herm. It may have been too much stress from vegging in shoddy darkened cubby hole then into 12/12. Its all good I learned a bunch about the plant. Ill plant some more when the pollen gets cleaned up. His Portwine n xheese is the frostiest in my tent right now.

We’ll go for a serious round 2 :+1::v:

I think I have more. I’ll see. If so they are yours. I have some Chem crosses if your interested. So sorry about the herms. I have 3 Marauders about to be chopped. I had 2 males out of five seeds. I should consider myself lucky. I like how you stepped up and said it was self inflicted stress. Some others would just trash the strain. You’re a noble brother my friend.
Blessings…

That was probably a factor with mine too, which is why I don’t rule out popping the last four seeds at some point.

Absolutely bro. Things happen in life. Im fuilty of being a first class asshole, but thie new brees goes fit for fhe jugular. go for the jugular and is crazy. They were saying shit like the skunk 91 he made was hermaphroditic all kinds of factors play in so what happens the Gorilla Glue 4 is known to have shit to happen anyway so I feel like it comes down sometimes just the grower and the conditions.

And I’m in agreement with you Howard I’ve been growing a lot of strains imo together can be detrimental as well that’s why I’m going to save the rest of my packs together only took two out of it just to see if I could get one pop to get some smoke that was really good 1 died 1 went herm but I had to rest of the pack when she’ll be grown together with no other interest and I believe that’ll be the key Either way he put his heart and soul into it. So I appreciate the love from everybody and the craftsmanship that goes into it. Rant over. Love you guys be safe.

I’m in same boat. In fact I want to run them again soon to see if I cleaned up some of the stress triggers in my flower room

Im gonna take a shot on em next go around. Now that im organized somewhat I’m ready. I believe they were stressed from a few things. Mine went herm off the rip so kinda no harm no foul. As far as GG. Herms too much for my setup. I cant access evey part of my space and herms wouldn’t be good for my mental status.

People love the GG is the bees knees. Sam’s gears been soild for me. We’ll run er’ again and see whats up. If it had been week 6-7 I would a plucked.

No one else has ran any? Thats wild. Wonder if the Katsu Dracary’s could be influenced to herm from the Glue? Tag me when you decide to have a go plz.

Running Marauder atm, ended up with 6 gals, 4 of which started producing male bits in week 3.
I always try to keep them going just by removing the offending male flowers as and when they appear. I’ll spend about an hour a day on them but get to week 5 and they usually stop throwing off male flowers.
Next up will be Spitting Cobra.

I suspect that if I had done that, the plants would have turned out fine. If I hadn’t had other plants going at the time, I might have risked it.

I think I still have a couple of seeds left, and I still think about how great those plants smelled. Seriously yummy scents on those.

Maybe someday I’ll get an opportunity to try again.

I may crack mine for a couple of quick plants for some good smoke. I’ve been wanting to for a while. @Sunvalley was saying today how it’s one of the regulars at his place for personal smoke.

Do you happen to have the plants on a cold floor? I’ve tripped females to herm from letting the roots get too cold.

I’m gonna crack some anyway. It’s just for my personal smoke and I’ll keep my eyes on them. I’ve been able to grow plants that I caused to herm and grew again without any issues. Hope yours settle down and get to the business of flowering soon! peace

I can’t wait to get to the Cobra and and the Baked alien Cookies. I’ll tell you what the Portwine and Cheese is so striking it is top shelf. Sam is just a monster who stays killing it. Y’all are killing it. Keep up the good work fellas. :v::grin:

Good point regarding cold feet, just before I started this grow I bought some underfloor heating to cover a 1.2m x 2.4m space and set the temps to 22C min, 25C max. Works a treat.
I’m running UGORG#1 from Underground Originals and a single Alien Cookies x Fire Cookies from Baked Beanz, no problems with them.
In the mean time No.5 from 6 has hermied. I spend about an hour a day checking for male bits and just knock them off as I find them. I’ve been through this before and often the plants stop producing male its after a couple of weeks.
At day 20 the plants are looking and smelling great so I’ll persevere with them.
Thanks for the comment.

That’s how I go about that problem. I’ll try and prevent any accidental pollination, but otherwise pick the male bits off to see how things progress. It’s usually something I may have done.

If it was a full blown male bloom, then it’s obvious and I’d toss it.

I have another one of Sam’s strains that he never sold because of herm reports, but because of the genetics I wanted to see for myself. I got male flowers from the cold roots, and after I picked them all off, it turned out fine without any more. I grew the clone from it and it never showed any male parts. Almost everything in that grow was starting to throw nanners because I was in a new grow spot, on raw dirt in my basement, in winter in Colorado, until I finally got it. I actually had some things around to raise them but just totally forgot.

Marauder @ 3 weeks.
6 gals in 6.5L pots. I use the Biotabs organic range & supplement with seaweed extract in veg. From week 3 in bloom i start using the Brutal Buds pk booster. Works for me.
Looks like they’re about done with throwing off male bits; i will monitor them in the next few days & hopefully get the job done without seed filled buds(apart from the 2 lower branches that i pollinated).
