That’s a good 4 or 5 inch section, and there’s plenty of them. When should I stop giving nitro?

Looks like a good moment now … beer3|nullxnull

Thought the same, and noticed a few yellowing off earlier. Gave it one last bit to be sure

You shouldn’t bother with all those green leaves with plenty of Nitrogen to share, it’s not needed now … beer3|nullxnull

Good to know. Was a little worried about it, thinking there wouldn’t be enough leaves for buds to get what they need

Nitrogen is used to produce more leaves, it’s important in veg but useless once completed transition to flower and buds starting to form, they mostly need P and K … beer3|nullxnull

Have been using bone meal for phosphorus, and wood ash for potassium, occasionally add some molasses to the mix

Wood ash mostly contains Calcium and raises your soil pH, careful while using it …

@George i believe flowering plants need more K and not much more P in flowering.

Wood ash is great, but basic. I use 1 to 2 tablespoon per plant, right under the dripper. Sometimes double dose if needed.
To mitigate the pH rise, I first make sure I have a good pH buffer in the soil, and I add high K vermicompost qlternatively

I love wood ash for flowering weed

Just honestly used it once, used ag lime, and Epsom salt a few times as well.

Had some stickiness to my fingers, after removing dead older leaves earlier. 5’3

I have a love of landraces, and old school strains, so i figured, why not? I did a blueberry muffins from HSC last year, and loved it, and decided I needed to do this. Obnoxious you say? How far away can you smell a 6 footer of this? lol

Oh i mean obnoxiously smelly dried flowers. I remember it being extremely pungent with a hard to describe skunkiness. Mine was grown indoors so couldnt say honestly how it is on a big outdoor plant.
