Huckleberry Soda & East Coast Sour Soda IN - A Shed O' Tents

I have the stuff I collected two days ago I can send then. I was thinking fresh would be better with hours being enough to dry. Thatll get it to ya sooner. I know sooner is better to make sure seeds have enough time and you can chop when you want to.

I also remember reading to use the flour as soon as it cools down so it doesnt start sucking up room humidity again.

even not prepared or refrigerated or anything, it’s viable for quite a while up to or longer than 30 days, but fresh is good…just not for shipping.

No prob. I havnt pollenated yet, still got a week window or so, so I can send you the pollen thats been chillin on the glass for two days and use fresh for myself collecting even more for storage.

Edit:

Only question. I know frozen pollen should be used all up and cannot be refrozen. This pollen has been refrigerated, not frozen, as pictured in vacuum sealed with the rice also in the bag but not in the glass jar. I was planning on using it all once it came to room temp so wasnt worried about viability beyond that. Would it be dry enough for shipping and would it remain viable after warming up?

If any of that is an issue I will just collect fresh, let dry at room temp (68 f here) in dark for two days and send off after that.

While time is n important factor here, If you sent after drying a couple days, it would still get here in a timely manner. But sending it ‘fresh’ it’d probably get wasted by turning into a gooey mess. That’s happened with pollen shipped before.

Edited a big question into previous post that took long enough to type shoulda been its own post.

That is fine cuz, but go ahead and use it as planned on your plants, you can send me some after it’s been dried and prepped. I can wait a few days here also.
That’s a very OGesture you just made cuz, and I do appreciate it!

NL x Big Bud Auto - looks like this has the most time left of the 3 autos I havnt kicked back to the 5x5 tent yet.

OG Kush. Beautiful freebie seed.

I got the two hubba bubba haze started now I traded for and gave one to a buddy who started it. Never bought em. They are in stock at some seedbanks but seems you get better freebies straight from them. Not in need of seeds so figure Id wait. They take too much longer for their next drop ill just use the money for a dabpress.

Yeah, I learned NOT to ship fresh pollen, even WITH dried rice in it… But Johnny got a nice mini petri dish starter set instead

@FiveGar
I’ve been drying in a sealable box with a ton of dessicant packs, pollen on a 12x12 piece of glass (lol a 3D printer bed). After a few days its clearly drier than fresh, and I then bagged and sealed in little ziplocks. The pollen when dry, will almost flow like water thru the bag when you are dry, if theres any moisture, it barely moves thru the bag.

I have some preserved in the freezer for future, though I have also been told its not necessary (but I am thinking long term like 1-2 generations out, or more). The other pollen I have kept in the humidor, in the little baggies or on trays until I can bag. Even on the trays, at 60% rh in the humidor, the dry pollen doesn’t seem to take up much if any more moisture (the sealed container w/ dessicant that I use gets down to 29-30% rh).

Gluten free pollen?

Whole wheat pollen has more fiber, so unless you’re sending it to plants with celiac disease obviously the whole wheat will be better for them. :stuck_out_tongue:

Initial deed is done. Shut off all exhaust and fans right before lights out at 9 am. Dusted a number of bud sites on all three BOG SBT. Went ahead and left em sitting there. At lights on I will go in and give em all nice water/foliar spray before flipping fans back on.
