Humboldt Blueberry Muffin 2x2x4 Grow Diary

I think I am 5-6 weeks into this plant. The plan is to max out a 2x2x4 and see how much one plant can harvest. Grown from seed. I have topped it 16 times and about to start LST. Not sure how to go about it, but probably a trellis net SCROG?

Soil is fox farm 50/50 happy frog and ocean forest, little perlite, little Gaia Green 444. 5 gallon fabric pot. About to move those other plants out and move her center in the tent. Should be a fun project

Very excited to see what you get out of these. I had a 3 pack I got as a free gift when got the Triploid doughnuts and Triploid OG . That’s another story altogether lol. I kept the 2 best blue berry muffin freebies to pick a mother from. Shortly I will take some clones. I been experimenting with clothes pins as easier softer approach to training. Will need more time and testing different sizes strength ect. Cheers looking forward to your grow…

This is my first time growing it but have smoked it a bunch, its solid stuff and the high made me order seeds. Seems pretty stable too, our plants look like sisters. Cheers BTYGMO

I love the structure didn’t plan on making a mother, but the structure was different than stuff I been running lately. It earned a spot. All mine were Super consistent. Here is her sister.

Same, it is a really easy plant to grow and takes the training with no problems. I took a few clones off it already and plan on keeping it around for a while if the final product turns out right.

Update. We are getting close to flowering time. I transplanted into a 7.6 gallon fabric pot. I messed up and under watered the week before transplant but she seems to be making a come back. Was on vacation. I don’t think the burnt tips are from nute burn. I used Ocean Forest fox farm for the transplant, no amendments. I really like the way fox farm bud tastes. I’ll most likely give her a light Gaia green bloom top dress before flowering.

I actually got 2 packs for a friend and me to go thru. Got Doughnuts and OG triploid. We started 1 pack of OG but my buddy ended having pests in veg after we took clones. I wasn’t stoked on the condition of the clones so dumped them. I was really only interested as a group project for us to share. He lost interest in the project after the pest issue and moved onto another strain. I still have a few packs left. One of each OG and doughnuts. I gifted out one pack of doughnuts never herd back on the outcome. Things got weird at Humboldt after the release on the triploid. Some herm issues and questions about the testing ect. They basically went back and stated they are better for outdoor strains not well tested indoors. So i have not been anxious to start the remaining stock. With my buddy not interested and Humbolt taking their licks on this one kinda killed the excitement.

Update. Tomorrow will be the first day of 12/12. I began reducing the light levels about a week and a half ago, starting to see the stretch. I top dressed with Gaia green bloom at the same time as reducing the light. Looking forward to updating next week with some bud sites.

Looks good @WheresWaldo … here is a quick up date on my Blueberry Muffins !!! I made clones of pheno #1 and #2 they are in week 2 of flower.

Pheno #1

Pheno #2

The only real difference so far has been pheno #1 was always taller a few inches. I have been bending Pheno #1 to train under the trellis. Pheno #2 I am not able to bend at all the internode spacing is very close and tight not allowing for any training. The good news is Pheno #2 is staying very short and squat so no real training needed.

Our plants still look similar even with different grow styles and pheno types. Very cool Cheers !!!

Update! Having some light issues and having to replace it. Not the best timing but I am working around it. Day 14 of flower I believe. She’s lookin good

Day 30 flower. Got the light replaced, made a watering and humidity mistake for a few days. But she’s holding on just fine. Sometimes I feel like those stress mistakes can be a good thing.

Day 38. The smell on this thing is incredible. Sweet blueberries, little bit of mango at times but it does have the overall old school blueberry smell.

Update Day 55 of flower. Looking good, has a nice fade going on. I have noticed only a few amber heads. Might give her a chop soon but the buds are continually fattening up. The smell is incredible. Sweet sweet blueberries.
