Hmmm, I dunno. If you think it might be, you could hit them with some coconut water, that doesn’t ever seem to hurt. I always try to remember to water with that anyway, around week 5/6. Don’t always remember, though… haha. Or maybe some potassium silicate?

That’s weird. Like, the lights just “naturally” cause cal-mag deficiencies? I wonder why. Seems like that’s something they oughta fix haha…

i think it says if replacing a HPS with these LEDs, use more cal-mal but like… in soil you don’t use “cal-mag”

i’m not gonna do anything about it just wondering haaha, my best smoking plants are often the ones that canibalize and look shitty, meanegene was saying he always finds the best weed in the pots he barely cares for, not as much water, no soil test, the weed is better

he says when you absolutely nail it and grow the plant perfect, the smoke is a little “flat” … i love hearing that! my favorite cluster funk plant looked dried to a crisp and dead, came out the most flavorful smoke, it took me a while to understand what LITFA meant but i see why it’s a common thing

Ever tried using a water cloner to make them clones? It’ll really improve your success rate. I easily clone buds in a rubbermaid, the setup is not worth much loot.

Never used it, looks like it’s definitely faster, i just don’t like too many motors being on or too much stuff plugged in… for now i’m sticking to domes/pucks, good success rate but some plants it can take a month to root, but usually, everything roots

Check your outside daylight hours and try to wait for longer days.
Close as you can get to 14 hours of daylight.

Also, make your indoor timer match the outdoor light schedule but 15 hours on.
If it is at your house you can also break up the night schedule by giving 1 hour of light several hours after dark.

Giving 1 hour of light in the middle of the night will prevent flowering.
Course you can not do this in the middle of the woods, well maybe but you will need stuffs…LOL

Good luck

Those little solar powered LEDs are a god send. Takes very little light to keep plants from flowering. You can hang one or two of those over your crop with no electricity etc needed and easily keep things from flowering until you’re ready. Easy light assisted outdoor on the cheap :+1:

What an awesome idea! Thank you @api312

Pretty sure 20-30 min. will work to depending on the strain/cultivar.
I would need to check my notes to be sure.
My point is, it need not be an hour on the nose.

Just so you know that works indoors as well.

i-80 is starting to bulk and frost up, had really big bracts, and smells like pure og to nsssasty rubber gas to onion beef roast (my favorite)

cold cookies just looking like a cookie cross

meow looking good too

pine tar kush, sick of pulling nanners off these, they are weird little fuckers

this is my favorite looking forbidden fruit, where it’s just a little purple, the darker the purple the more overripe berry it smells like, the lighter the color the lighter the smells

Everything is looking DANK! well done!

Dude, are you serious? I haven’t heard one good thing about those Pine Tar Kush plants. Why are people growing them? I wasn’t interested in them anyway, never bought seeds, but every grow report or anything that I’ve read about them has been,”These plants suck…” haha.

Ive done two runs now with LED now, and from what I’ve noticed 1/4 tsp of epsom per gallon foliars and increased calcium intake are a must if you want to put the lights super close to the plants.
Other wise the LED’s gotta be a bit higher esp in veg

Really nice pictures

that pine tar kush looks crazy fire
sucks about the nanners is it on the tops even or just lowers?

Hmmm, guess those go in a different pile  wasn’t aware there was widespread issues with it.

they were freebies, few intentional seeds didn’t germinate, and i was like fuck it imma pop a few pine tar kush

both on lowers and top, i really want to let 'em finish, but like minitiger said a lot of people aren’t finding anything good, they are a IBL reproduction of a landrace afghan (i think) and with those types of things you reallly gotta hunt thru 'em. they smell like mountain temple

foliar spray with epsom huh? never done foliar spray of nutrients, but i’ve added top dress fertilizer around the sad plants and they regained a little life after 2 days, they are just hungry plants in general it seems like

Oh wait I was looking at that pic under meow
Haha
That’s the one I was talking about

I was consistently hitting like 1200-1300 ppm of organic base this sour run
They’re hungry girls

in veg foliar spraying epsom with LED’s is a game changer IMO

yeah they’re photogenic, the breeder of that strain is koma, that dude was saying he’ll put that meow strain against anything from anybody that’s gas, bold words so we’ll see, and they’re looking good, carrots/mothballs for now, pretty much like the last og i grew that was really good

If you are getting some yellowing rotate in a Mg Nit. spray too.
For veg of course.

Both cal and mag can cause issues when drenched in.
If you spray, the plants get what they need but the chemistry of the root zone is not messed with.

Calcium is known to cause lockout.

I saw the boron jokes above…
But really a small amount of boron with your calcium would be a good thing.

I can attest to adding magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) to plants under LED’s. Saw that tip on an IG post and tried it out. Definitely noticed a difference.

Garden lookin dank AF bud!
