Today is the long awaited day 16 of drying, so day 1 of trimming, and day 1 of a new cycle here’s my reammended beds, 6 cups of craft blend per bed but i think imma need way more, and some cover crop

my wife’s special plant right here, it’s a i-80 and it smells of gas, rubber, pepper and in her words “like skunk ass” and she said it taste like roasted marshmallows, but we’ll see how it cures, for now i can’t say what i think it taste like at all i’m flavor blind from smoking on tons of new shit

finished trimming! headstash trim job, took off very little leaves, i kept weed in those little peanut butter jars before and it didn’t dry out, they have a nice seal in the lid, pretty dope and pretty makes up for the expensive peanut butter

sour D! #1 so my wife says this one is really good, and she can’t place the flavor, but i don’t think so haha

lime 1 jaro #4 is the hot girl, purple inside, i think the best lime 1 jaro for now is the one i cut a branch at day 62 with that root beer flavor, it’s now gone from that plant, and whatever it’s was herming, but another one has it the #6 so i might keep #6 if it gets better in the jar, it’s good now, but now as much as the other one, and maybe i’ll cut it early next time cause that day 62 flavor was special, anyways i’m rambeling and i want root beer!!!

so forbidden fruit is pretty larfy, no frost, and smells INSANE, very good!

aiight lets talk pine, probably my favorite smell in the world and flavor in weed, the guerilla fume’s are blowing my mind with that pine flavor and i’m trying to tell my wife it’s like pine and she’s not getting pine, so i opened my deodorant under her nose and she says “that’s pine? yes that’s it, that’s the guerilla fume flavor” it’s like perfumey heavy and fake pot pouri like, then the heavy gas comes later within a minute and lingersssss, taffy caramel like, OG AF, and guess what this was the biggest yielding plant in the whole hunt, the #5… and then the next best plants are the other guerilla fumes haha, extremely stoked on these, it’s just not frosty, this would be the perfect buds to make people realize frost and nice colors don’t mean shit, it looks old school and i think it’s beautiful

those are either sour diesel or i-80 or both they look very similar, i-80 is better before curing, the biggest one also seems to be my best tasting one, how lucky, they are very aggressively rubber skunk smelling in general

cold cookies, rocks of frost, smells really good, no flavor yet

Oh man thats a stash that gorilla fumes sound heavenly love the look of them too got both of old soul 6 clones cruising now took a few weeks of babying them back they got pretty stunted from the trip but growing proper now going to run both them along side clones of my lone old soul 1 mother I found in my pack next run hope that lime jaro gives you the cure you are looking for much love

i was never really good at differentiating highs, this is the first time i can sorta tell a difference between plants, i can say the og stuff is stronger for sure, better high tho? i can’t tell, not yet

The lack of frost on some of those flowers could maybe just be because it was so hot in the grow space this round. Didn’t you say it was like high 80’s/low 90’s for pretty much the duration? That could have something to do with it, I dunno.

They all look good to me, anyway (except for maybe that Forbidden Fruit haha). The first pic of that Sour Diesel actually does look like Sour to me. Sour always has those dark green sugar leaves, the bright green calyxes and those super-wiry pistils, just like in your pic. Looks good. But I guess the true test will be in the flavor department… haha.

yeah forbidden fruit is ugly, i was always wondering why we don’t see much of it, it’s cause it’s schwaggy but i still don’t understand nothing comes close to it fruit wise, that i know of

I feel like I’ve seen multiple people mention it recently. Didn’t schmarm grow some a while back? I haven’t made mental notes of my “sightings” of it haha, just because I’m not interested in it, but I do feel like I’ve seen it mentioned/grown here and there in the last year or so. I’d never even heard of it until recently, maybe only when you and schmarm started growing it haha.

yeah maybe sour diesel is one of those that transforms for the better but you know… i don’t like strains you have to cure for 6 months, i want it to be good, now! and that’s the case for many many strains, better before the cure. i freeze my weed a lot, i notice pine flavor disappears fast

oh another thing i forgot to mention about the guerilla fume’s is BLACK LICORCIE in a very very good way

Nahhhh, I don’t think it’ll take that long. I guarantee you that none of the Sour Diesel I’ve ever blazed was cured for six months haha. I’d give it three weeks and then start trying it out. I always label my jars, like,”1, 2, 3,” etc so that I always sample from the #1 jar first and let the others cure; that way the other jars stay sealed up until I finish the first jar, then I crack open the #2 jar blahblahblah… Might be something to consider.

But if those Sour Diesel jars are gonna taste, uh, Sour Diesel-ish, it shouldn’t take too long. Definitely not six months haha.

So if I guy was to look for a Sour Diesel in femanized seed form… what breeder would you guys recommend?

I don’t have alot of space, keeping moms around are difficult. Regs can take up lots of space as well… so femanized beans has a place in my room.

I don’t fuck with feminized seeds, but I understand your dilemma. I’d say just get some regular Sour Diesel hybrids from reputable breeders (I know you’re a fan of Lucky Dog; just got done watering and the one Diesel Therapy I have flowering smells insanely strong, although not like Sour Diesel. Yet), grow them and cull the males. I don’t keep moms around, either, I just plant new seeds every run, but there’s just something about feminized seeds that kind of weirds me out. I’d rather just start like 30 seeds and see what happens. If I gotta cull some, I gotta cull some.

That hasn’t happened yet, though haha! I have the WORST luck when it comes to M:F ratios. I think I planted 31 or 32 seeds this last run and ended up with nine females…

isn’t sour diesel from a feminized seed? haha i know what you mean it’s unnatural but at the same time in nature, a female plant would herm and polinate another female all the time i’m sure, not saying that this would make a better plant but i’m sure it’s common, and i’m sure that’s not what you mean anyways haha

duuude brutal, at least keep a couple nice males for decoration outside or something, make rope, but realistically maybe compost it right? that’s what a hippie would do and hippies grow good weed!
