I thought this was Septoria, now I'm second guessing

I had some tomato plants close to my weed. I let the tomato plants grow out of control and they developed a disease that spread to one of my wee plants.

Being new to outdoor growing, I didn’t know this was a disease until it spread about all over one plant. I’ve sprayhed with Daconil yesterday and it looks like the damaged leaves got worse after applying the Daconil.

I’ve been at clipping all diseased leaves for about 4 days now. Got any limbs off the ground. Clippedd all the weeds under and around the plants. Laid mulch under and around the plants.

Tomorrow I begin treatment with “Growers Ally Fungicide.”

Is anyone able to look at these pics and determine what disease I am actually dealing with here? My hand lens shows these as dark black spots. I didn’t have the lens to examine the leaves before I applied Daconil.

One more spec worth noting, it is super humid here and the rain has not stopped in a week. My yard around the plants is now nothing but mud.

I’m not sure what you have going on but I don’t think it’s septoria. I’ll keep looking, hopefully someone else will jump in with knowledge on this problem.

What does it look like on the tomatoes? Is it the same? Can you post pics of the tomatoe plants that have been affected by this as well? Thank you.

It looked exactly like the Septoria pics before I applied the Daconil Fungicide.

After the Daconil, one day later to be exact, most of the affected areas turned black or dark brown and tended those the yellow halo.

I’ll post pics of the tomato plants, and more pucs of the affected plant this evening. It gets over wheling trying to trim all of the affected leaves.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like what I’ve got @petedacook pretty sure it is Septoria.
Alot of my tomato plants got infected this year for some reason and I’ve never had this problem.

Heree is some pics of thr tomato plants. Keep in mind I’ve clipped and disposed of justy about every sick leaf from the tomato plants.

By the way…I think I have this problem laken care of. The Daconil I applied helped, but I think the “Grower’s Ally Fungicide” works great. Make sure to apply it with a garden sprayer.

I found some useful info as I did my research to solve this problem. I’ll share that in this thread and in a stand alone post.

It provides this great resource: All about growing hemp in Tennessee.

If you go to this site → resources for hemp → Can I use pesticides on hemp → products approved for hemp. It provides a download in Excel format that lists all products for hemp in Tennessee.

This is great because it’s where I found the fungicide that seems to work great. It says you can spray it today, then harvest tomorrow if you wanted to, so it’s super hemp friendly and effective. I will use this on my next outdoor crop. It’s great preve tive care.
