what do you do with the trunks?

Valid question. Usually just break them up small and throw them in or mulch a bit with them. When Iā€™m super creative I carve something fun into them or out of themā€¦ then eventually they get broken down into the compost. Or used until they break down like as a tie down post or whatever. Lol not the most useful answer. I have been sitting thinking about better uses for them but mulch/compost is all I got

I mean I had thought about using them as posts for beans/peas to climb on I mostly just worry that a neighbor might wise up to what they actually are

why do you freeze the leaves?

Ah, I didnā€™t realize you were within view of neighbors! Pesky prying eyes :hammer:

I freeze all my stuff prior to composting. It helps break things down and kills any critters or rogue bacteria or fungi that may be on the plants. Also essentially eliminates any rotting smellsā€¦which goes a long way because I keep worm bins indoors. Look into cold composting if youā€™d like! Some folks swear by it and it takes a while, but you end up with a slower break down and is totally pest free. Iā€™ve also just noticed anecdotally that frozen stuff breaks down quicker in the outdoor compost pile too

I meanā€¦ im pretty sure the only house with a direct view because the back fence is chain linkā€¦ is a drug dealer or cook based on what I hear of the screaming he does at his girl but someone could easily look over my fence if they wanted to

yea most of my smell comes from when I open the tent and forget lol

Hell yea theres nothing like coming home and unzipping the tent for a nice blast of fresh flower smells

You can put the fresh clippings under the compost pile. If you have kitchen scraps in there no one will notice.

so im 100% sure these arent going to finish flower at the same time which is going to be an issue as I was planning to just dry in the tentā€¦ trying to figure out another solution its like 20-35% humidity where I live so I cant really just do it in a room afaikā€¦

I just put the buds in a shoe box and let it dry. I think a lot of the drying/curing information is mostly hype. I have seen hundreds of plants hanging in an old barn. We never had humidifiers or things like that. We just hung it up until it was dry enough to smoke.

Lovely Plants!!
I started worm bins, feeding them the leaves, after a deleafing expedition, sort of like a tear and share.
All my stalks I grind up, and it also goes into my worms.
Food scraps, tomato plants that I forgot and never watered.
House plants, that go to the nevernever, into the worm bin bag.

Haha that would be wild! If you are feeling brave look into supercropping. Itā€™s scary at first I wonā€™t lie but after a while you get the hang of it and itā€™s needed in cases like that if your wanting your perfect buds that arenā€™t light bleached or burnt

Let it go a little too long before pulling them away from the lights also ended up accidental super cropping that one branch lol guess weā€™ll see what happensā€¦ learning process
