If yall had to rank from best to worst

I’m just curious what you guys might think about my 3 different organic nutes. If you guys had to rank from best to worst, Gaia Green AP 4-4-4 for veg and power bloom 2-8-1 for flower. Down to earth AP 4-4-4, kelp meal and the fish bone meal 4-12-0 mixed into the soil and then will be topped with 4-4-4 in veg and topped with 4-12-0 in flower. Then finally I have the roots organics line as well the grow for veg 6-1-2 and for flower there bloom terp tea topped at 3-7-4. By the way in will be using RO water and roots organics lush living soil or build a soil 3.0. Just wondering what yall think.

I’d say get a clone, make 3 more clones, do a side-by-side micro grow test run.

And, it’s a weed.

If it were given to me, I’d probably mix all three together and topdress little by little.

Nowadays I just topdress with nettle and mint tea pulp, grass clippings, tree leaves, … that’s all the necessary minerals covered, sow beans for nitrogen, chop & drop when the beans start flowering. Done.

Truth is, you don’t need to buy anything special to grow stuff once you have your basic setup going.

Then there’s also kitchenscraps (additional nitrogen and minerals) which you can use for topdressing (chop them up finely and use in moderation) or make (vermi)compost with.

My bad I read the topic. @cannabissequoia has a great idea.

I am! I have another post stating this. I didn’t put in here for some reason. But I have 3 plants of each! I just was wondering if yall have done something like this and what you got?

I’ve only ever used Down To Earth of those three, and not on canna, but it’s a great product. SO MANY options. Fairly priced.

Gaia Green just seems expensive for what it is, and, of all the people I’ve seen use it, it seems like the sponsored grow channels do much better with it than your average home grower. Just something I’ve noticed

Roots Organic was super popular for a while, and anyone I’ve ever seen use it seems to have nice plants. I don’t see it around as much anymore.

My opinion on RO water; use it in DWC but otherwise just use tap water, unless for some reason your tap water is under a “boil order” or has unusually high PPMs like over 200.

I highly recommend build a soil stuff. I’ve had great success with top dressing the Craft Blend right before flowering. I’ve also used roots grow and flower terps teas as well as their bloom boost as a tea. Down to earth stuff is pretty great and reasonably priced. I use their insect frass.
If I had to choose I’d go build a soil amendments first, then roots, then down to earth. Gaia is wicked expensive for what it is imo. Happy growing :seedling::metal:

My tap water here is so trash and has messed up the soils PH. Otherwise I would prefer to use the water I dont have to go out and buy lol. RO has seem to have given good results.

Yeah Gaia is kinda pricey but not much more over here (2.2 lbs is about 30 bucks vs the 1 lb DTE being 18 and then roots for the uprising grow is about 20 for the larger bag I think like 1 lb) the Gaia seems to be available for the plant to take in a little sooner than the others. That’s the only difference I’m noticing.

I’ve never used Gaia products, but I know folks have good success with it. I’d say, try it out and see how ya like it!

I just use the Gaia green flower power. I use maxibloom in flower…but I find no need for all the other stuff.
I reuse my soil…I add flower power when mixing and breaking up the soil/rootballs for a new run…then just maxibloom.
SOG style growing.

@Bdub1223 I have only used Gaia Green out all the ones listed.
I find I works great!! It stinks the first week you use it. Organic after all, perhaps breaking down?
And after that just water and watch them grow.
And watch them wow!!! :+1:
I used other fertilizers from other companies.
Mixing up bottles and all.
And I found this work pretty well for me.
I also agree that it is expensive, but in Canada :canada: at least I have bought for 100 bucks tax in, for 20 kilo bag of bloom.
That is at my local grow shop.
So I bet with the USA dollar it maybe less for people elsewhere.
Never looked else where.
If you need lots, it drops in price the bigger the bag. Like most stuff. I think you can buy bags in 10kg as well. :+1::+1::+1:
:peace_symbol::lobster:

I would watch out for k def , with either way : )

If in veg long , and definitely in flower

They seem to be doing well! It’s almost like they’ll want it for a few days then find it.

H’mm, no DTE Langbeinite? It is potent, and if you need faster results from it, run a few tablespoons through a dedicated coffee grinder, and pulverize it.
I use a teaspoon, of it in my 1 g vegging pots, and when I add a bit with guano, around 1 tsp. to a 3-5 g flowering pot, you get K, Mg, and S.
I found it really helps drive my plants other goodies, where they need to go.

These are said plants BTW!!! All 3 are pure michigan
