I wanted to pay tribute to some of the members here on OG. After receiving a bunch of beans I thought it was appropriate to share back. I started some of the tribute grow outside and moved some of it inside where they are more protected.
First of all let me thank the sponsors of seeds for this grow:
First let’s start off with black lotus. I started out with five beans and all of them germinated. Four turned out to be female. I eventually took the best one indoors for a protected grow.
She is bigger than I anticipated considering I didn’t germinate until July.
Next is Ssdd, I germinated three seeds and one turned out to be female. Some people advised she would be good medicine so I moved her inside for protection.
There are many more I’d like to show gratitude to but there is only so much room for me to grow. Therefore I’d like to thank all members which I had contact. I’m sure eventually I’ll get to all of them, if I live to be a hundred.
I took a page from your book and germinated a bunch. But you have the luxury of the outside light. I appreciate you visiting and any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
You got this brother they are already at a size where it’s almost time to flower. That Kandahar is a beauty and I’d probably FIM the top lead a week before flowering. Will limit the stretch and send growth down to the secondary shoots.
Nice work so far. My unsolicited advice, top your plants and do some bend training. You’ve got single cola plants. They look cool and take the least amount of maintenance but produce so much less weight. When just topping twice would likely 3x your yield
All of the inside are already flowering. The mcb was already pollinated a few weeks ago.
The Kandahar was accidentally topped when it was younger. Have you grown Kandahar before? It’s bigger than I expected from a 90 percent indica.
When I’m going for weight I usually top. But since I’m going more for variety I’m gonna leave as long as they don’t get too close to light. Thanks for advice though
It helps to have more than two eyes on something.
No haven’t had the privilege of that specific cultivar but have grown the Hindu Kush and they do get pretty large. But it looks big and most likely double in stretch.
@SassafrasCat I seeded the lower half and protected the top buds. She is already budding up. I pollinated her about two weeks ago. Who needs air freshener.
Thats awesome… i love the sharing and caring around here… so many times I’ve gotten on here and vicariously lived through others excitement over friends sharing… or helping in 1 way or the other… its such a great thing to get to witness and be a part of. Sometimes it really feels like theres family on the other end.
Keep it going friends… show the world that it can be overgrown with seeds of compassion and togetherness along with our wonderful cannabis…
