I just wanted to pop in and let you know I cracked the DLA11 x Herijuana beans you sent me long ago. Been almost 3 years to the day but I finally got around to this vial. I’m looking for a strain that knocks me down a peg, and this cross sure sounds like it could do just that. Haven’t seen anyone else on here grow them.

Fuck yeah. I feel like quite a few of the homies who received my DLA11 work have started to get into them. I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head that I have seen run the DLA11 x Herijuana though. Definitely feel free to post updates in here as they progress!

I didn’t work with the DLA11 for too long due to russet mites, but I have been working with the Herijuana since around 2010 or 2011 when Motarebel first gifted me the seeds.

Humorously enough, the Herijuana seeds that Motarebel sent me were pale as shit and I actually doubted that they would grow when he first sent them to me haha. Pale seeds is kind of a common thing with Herijuana and Herijuana hybrids. My Tropicanna Cookies x Herijuana male and female always make pretty pale seeds that look like they might not be viable.

Anyfuckingway, my apologies for rambling. I have worked with Herijuana enough throughout the years that I can definitely see a lot of Herijuana influence in the leaves in your picture. The long, thin leaflets, especially the middle plant on the bottom row and the right plant on the top 2.

I’m a little vague on the history of Herijuana. I got a pack that @Pedro_Bann reproed back in 2019. He got those from Meduser, maybe via Barefrog. I saw mention of Motarebel and Sannies being involved with the line. Regardless, the reviews are always the same: knockout smoke.

I just liked the addition of the DLA11, like it might lend a little extra stank to the lighter scents of the Heri. Smart move, indeed, 'ol nuggz! I’ll definitely keep you updated as things get moving.

hey folks…Cracked open a fresh jar and ripping a fatty of this Mikado x Tropicanna Cookiesf2 … this has been sealed in the jar since mid october so about an 8 month cure in the jar. Very nice dense flower, covered in trichomes and the flavor is a nice mix of subtle mango/sweet grapefruit but has a dankness to it that is really hard for me to describe. This is the purpley pheno from the greenhouse last summer. Quite strong and I feel it in the forhead and kinda visually as well. Very uplifting but I put it out after a few tokes so have probably lit that joint 4 times over the last couple hours.

Quick update on the HogFishDog plants.

Final portrait of the two smallest plants. I cut them down yesterday.
One day shy of 10 weeks since I flipped the lights to 12/12.

The other 2 plants are still popping white pistils.

I plan on letting them go for a while. Meanwhile, I have 2 plants currently hanging in the spare shower with a humidifier and a small fan. I’ve darkened the room and it’s holding on 64F and 60-65% RH. Gonna try out the new grove bags for this. I’ll keep you updated on the drying and the two remaining plants. Happy Hump Day!

Wow, that’s interesting how much huger the plant in the big pot got compared to the one in the smaller pot. I mean, plant morphology-wise, they look pretty similar, but hoowee… I guess the ol’ “The bigger the roots, the bigger the fruits!” adage is true haha.

lol - I show no favoritism! All plants were treated equally. The only difference is 3 were grown in 5 gallon pots and the runty was a 3 gallon girl. The 3 in 5 gallons all turned out different sizes too.

Were the (Hazmat OG x Blowfish) x Dog Patch HogFishDog the only plants in the room?

I recall telling you when you reached out to me about running the HogFishDog that @Loggershands had one of his HogFishDog females that produced pollen sacs, so there is definitely a chance that your HogFishDog plants might have exhibited intersex traits as well. If it was pollen sacs early on though, as @Loggershands experienced, they would have been fairly easy to spot, rather than anthers.

Either way, you have done amazing on this grow and I love the look of the spears on your HogFishDog ladies. I look forward to seeing how your remaining two ladies (most likely Blowfish leaners from the looks/longer flower time) finish up and hearing how they all smoke. I appreciate you! Positive vibes…

Yes, they are the only plants growing in my house.
I never saw a pollen sac on them, so I’m guessing a little inter-sex shenanigans going on.
The ones drying look great.
