I'm in Thailand, where can I find some Thai outdoor sativa buds?

My third day in Thailand, and when it comes to weed I’m quite unimpressed with all the western genetics that are grown here. Everything you can get in Europe, you can get here as well.

I was hoping to get my hands on some of the Thai old school outdoor bud, for happy days on the beach
However, that’s non existent in coffeeshops in the area where I’m staying.

I’ve seen a YT video by a guy that goes by Jollyrogers, but the farm featured in the video sells only in bulk, like kilos. Would be cool to make some hash, but that’s not an option right now.

Wanted to ask y’all do you maybe know where could I, here in Thailand, order some outdoor Thai sativa online?

I have no clue tbh, I think your best bet might be asking around at some of the local bars/nightclubs. Locals know best!

@Fonzee ^^^

Perhaps he can lead you in right direction?

The best thing to do is go to small family owned stores and ask for the local weed. Look for stores that have the sign in the Thai language. It’s usually pressed into bricks and is really cheap. You might have to go to a lot of places before you find it. But it’s definitely available in most towns if you look around. Almost all places sell American and European style weed unfortunately

That looks promising, thanks!

@timbo , regarding that link you shared, I texted her, she seems legit.

She said that she cures and stores weed, seems like she knows how to preserve it.
“Yes my Ganja is kept in a controlled environment that is actually in very good condition” - Seems like she at least knows what’s she talking about.

So if you ordered from here, can you confirm the quoted part is true?
Asking cos if not stored properly, I’ll end up with a bunch of hay, and a few thousands less in my pocket.

Thats a damn shame! Why the hell would they be growing western stuff when they have those amazing sativas? Makes no sense, but im not suprised. Jamaica same thing youll see all these short Christmas tree afghans all over the mountains. Its crazy guess the short flowering time is irresistible.

My guess bro is to get as far away from commercialized cities as you can. Somebody there is growing landraces i bet

In a word yield
That’s why everyone switches to the modern stuff. Shorter flowering time and heavier yield, same reason as here

Boo! Makes sense though especially financially now that you mention it. Cant say i wouldnt do the same but with that said surely somebody is preserving those landraces

The Freakers are doing a bunch of preservation.

I’ve been following her on IG and she seems legit. I heard about her from a reputable landrace grower in the USA and apparently she’s big into the landrace scene in Thailand. It looks like she’s doing a lot of work to preserve Thai varieties and methods. Let us know what you think of her product!

Please do pictures would be awesome as well if able.

Prem is legit. She is very active with the landrace growers.

You can buy small bricks of weed in every coffeeshop around my area
But usually thai brick is sold by the kilo. It should be a little over 100$ for a kilo IIRC.

Im not into landraces, cant help you more specifically

There are many thai hybrids grown in a greenhouse by the gram pretty much everywhere. KD did a lot of those crosses and spread them around Thailand.
