I have said we need a retired names thread… an honorary wall of of the great users that have come and gone… a remembrance thread to them and without the ability of a like username to be able to be made again…
Also, a group of posts for a separate thread discussion…
It’s been a while since I’ve had any interaction with @CanuckistanPete, but I always knew him to be a kind, patient and down-to-earth guy. He will most certainly be missed by many…
Ever since I lost my brother to cancer, it always hits differently when I hear about someone else’s battle. I know too much about the effects of that f*cking disease, not just what it does to the patient, but what it does to their friends and family. So I wish them peace and comfort as they remember and honor him.
I laughed so hard as this was unfolding on him. I remember he put up a picture of Jerry Seinfeld and on it he spelled out my name THCeeed!! What a great time we had.
Sad to hear he has passed, we spoke about Stratocaster guitars and punk rock.
I never spoke to him much, but when I did he was a super nice guy. His outdoor garden looked amazing. And he told me he liked Frankenstein so much he grew it again this year. Sad he has gone.
I only had a few interactions with @CanuckistanPete but they were all positive and I always appreciated his generosity and positive spirit. I’ll pray for his family. Rest in peace Pete.
Oh my I’m so saddened to hear of this news C P. We traded beans on a few occasions and he was always so willing and helpful with me and easy to get along with. True OG r that we will all miss dearly such a talented grower and photographer. His plants were truly Jurassic in stature. He will be missed by so many. Condolences to all his family and loved ones.
Absolutely legendary screenname, I can say with confidence I’ll never forget @CanuckistanPete
Really embodied the spirit of OGTW OverGrowTheWorld. RIP to a certified homie and condolences to his family. Know that he means a lot to a lot of people here and thank you for sharing him with us.
Thought about our interactions today quite a bit while at work and I figured I’d try to honor him in some way. Pete helped me with more than a few of my giveaway’s in my thread and also grew out some of @Rena93 and my creations. I appreciated him very much. @THCeed if his wife/family end up needing any funds please let me know I am down to help in any way that we can!
Pete was only 65, he left behind a young Widow that I’m sure could use as much help as possible in times like this and further down the road. Maybe we can do an auction of some beans and donate the proceeds to her.
Yes, thanks to @Bobgrows for those. Definitely a keeper. Yes if you’ve been a follower of this thread you will definitely remember that Meme that he put up. They were some good laughs.
