Hey man just stumbled across this thread really like those girls you got going. Orange certainly is a unique profile for cannabis and Iāve had a few show up over the yearsā¦first off was a unique shiatsu Kush. Typical hybrid Indica but man very vibrant orange pistills with similar terp profile. Also mimosa kind of has that deep dank Orange terp that some people like others donāt. Very easy to identify

In case you havenāt read the entire thread, I grew some previously and most of them were orange sherbet. This time, most of them are ripe muskmelon, and one has some diesel too but itās not really loud. Iām thinking maybe melon and orange come from similar terpenes.

GM pheno IV is done!

A fine yield! I was able to collect 200 milligrams of finger hash, so looking forward to thatā¦
She smells nice, but not something I can put my finger on. Some kind of old people chewing gum, I guess. But my wife said it smells rotten so I donāt knowā¦

Haha nice man a little ABC? Already been chewed gumā¦ It seems like I always come across a new or weird terp regardless of if itās the same strain. So many little factors can change the end result.

So true. ABC gum fits. I grew a Scorpion Candy clone. First grow she got cold early in flower and turned completely purple. The smells were loud, ripening fruit and strong diesel.
I have done several subsequent grows with no purpling and no diesel. Each run can definitely be different.

I did it. But first, I was at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta this morning. Too early this morning. But as it turns out it was worth getting up for, because I found out someone put my picture on a balloon. 
I was exceedingly humbled by the experience.
And the bad thing? Well, I have decided to pick a mom from the great moms I grew this past summer and do some backcrossing. Thatās going to require just one more plant. Thatās the bad thing, on accountāa where can I put it?
Well, after we left the balloon fiesta, we met at a place called Weckās for breakfast. When adding up the bill, the waitress asked me if I wanted to add a commemorative cup to the bill. Iām a less-than-pathological collector of good ceramic coffee cups, so Iām like, āSure!ā She charges me and returns with one of those cheap plastic goblets. I never use those stupid things, at least not to drink out of. 
In case youāre wondering what their special, commemorative Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta cup looks like, I found a picture online. Like this one, except thereās no soil, and most definitely no Gelato-Meat-regular-that-is-hopefully-a-male in it.
So yeah, crappy 24 ounce cup like that, what the hell am I supposed to do with it? Maybe Iāll plant something and see how much pollen it makes.
Oh yeah, and the reason I left when I did? My nemesis showed up. I had to get out of there before he landed. Sumbitch always talking backwards in riddles drives me batshit crazy.

A word (or two) on GM pheno IV:
Sheās just barely ready for the jar, and Iāll jar her today sometime. But those of you who know me, know that I can never wait for the cure to start testing.
I broke up a bud, and the smell is awesome. You probably donāt know this, but energy drinks were invented by the Japanese. When I was in Okinawa in the late '80s, they were already there. They had a very sweet, light, and fruity taste, but I donāt know what the fruit would be. The smell is like those energy drinks.
Taste is okay, but itās a bit harsh until youāre about halfway through the doob. It resonates up nicely and improves in flavor to the end. I ended up smoking most of the roach too, something I usually donāt do anymore.
High was almost immediate and gratifying. Up like speed, but with a relaxing euphoria. I donāt know that itās more potent than the others, but it seems like it is, marginally.
Sheās definitely a contender for the best one, but Iāve still got two unharvested. More to comeā¦

Iām just guessing, but a few years later when Red Bull showed up here, I was ready. 
The first modern energy I can think of was dr enuf which was years ahead of the pre cursor to redbull the Japanese made , historically Iād say the Chinese drinking tea for caffeine was first but I wouldnāt doubt people have been consuming stimulants in the form of drink for much longer then that.

According to Grok, Dr. Enuf doesnāt qualify as an energy drink because it doesnāt have enough caffeine. Grok says itās classified as a vitamin-enriched soft drink.
I have grown nine or ten females, and they have always been good. But pheno VII is barely-even psychoactive. 
But statistically, maybe itās good 
. The majority of the females are fire, with one bad one. Maybe thereās a real standout waiting to make up for it.
I sifted the whole plant and got a nice little pile of kief that stuck together when pressed. I put a pile on top of a pipeload andā¦ nothing. I donāt think Iāve ever experienced a bomb of this magnitude.
However, she was a tiny plant sharing a pot with a fire mom. I only got about 3/4 ounce from the whole plant. So itās not like I wasted any time on it specifically.
My wife is currently smoking some kief and if she notices anything, Iāll let you know.
Since the one I reported on yesterday, Iāve decided to keep at least one mom from this batch and throw some pollen on it. But thatās a story for another day.
Edit: Almost forgot. 
This is the clone that just went to her maker.

Also, I just chopped pheno III today. Here she was during her last moments of innocence.
Pretty nice haul. Hoping for six ounces.
I smoked some scissors hash on top of a bowl of two other phenos mixed together and everything is nice and warm right now. My brain is buzzing like itās supposed to.
Edit: I was looking back and this is the one that smelled like tangerine a month or so ago. Maybe I can bring that out by growing her inside.
Another thing I meant to mention is that the resin is really tough. Like industrial resin. Itās hard to get it to roll on your fingers to make a ball. I donāt know if that matters, but this is where I keep track of such details.

Pheno V is the last holdout. I meant to check her today but she wasnāt quite ready the last time I checked. Sheās the phattest pheno in the bunch.
Iād like to grow her with a single cola and see how she turns out.
Sheās getting her fall colors, but a lot of that yellow showed up because I left the door to the greenhouse open last night. A volunteer habanero I moved in there a couple of days ago also took a setback.
