Hello and good afternoon everybody! I wrapped up all of my meetings early today so I swung by Bobs Guns to see what they were talking about and damnit all to hell guns are expensive as all get out anymore.
So I came home and replaced the ropes on an old weighted window that looks out into the sun room. 80 friggin years of just painting over those ropes is nasty work. Haha.

Shops are ridiculously priced these days. Online places have some decent deals. Still fairly pricey compared to 10-15 years ago though.

Yeah. I swear to Joseph R, guns I was buying for 5-600 a few years ago are $1300 and up. Im pretty sure i saw some smith and wesson 1911 for like $2300. Haha. What in the world is it about a 125+ year old platform that was just about obsolete when the military decided to adopt it as its side arm that would ever make it $2300?

My honey do list for this place is fucking insane. Honey do list for this weekend is install crown molding and baseboard in the living room and foyer. Install electric boxes in the top face of the built in book shelves for sconces. And like you would think our built in book shelves that we want to put on display with fancy ligting would have fancy shit to go on it. WRONG! Our shelves are full of doomsday rations. Lol
