They didnt let me in today either. Today i was on the list but my plates are expired so they wouldnt let me drive my vehicle on base. Now ive just been informed that i owe the tunnel folks a grip of money that needs to be paid off before i can renew my tags. Its almost $12 to go through the down town tunnel 1 way? Lol. Im about to just throw my plates in the trash. Fuck them. This is insane.

Aight den. I got them on the phone and cried about it until they reduced my bill by $1100. Split the remainder between 2 credit cards and fucking future me can worry about this. In the mean time Im gonna make the government pay hella dollars for this insult.

Nah. To be fair i generally avoid it at all costs. I generally only hit that shit if im running super late because to go around it only ads another 5-10 minutes to the commute. When they first started to toll that tunnel it was like $3 to pay by plate. Thats what was stuck in my head. This is also over the period of 3 years. The only reason i found out about this is because the dmv put a hold on my account at the end of august when i needed to renew my plates. I made a stink about that shit then and all of a sudden i started getting bills for $4000 in the mail.
This whole system is fucked.

Speaking of bills, fid everyone cough up that $5 for you while i was gone?
The math says of that $4100, $2700 of it was fees and penalties. This means i only take a trip back and forth through that tunnel maybe 20 times a year.

Thatās not too bad on your partā¦ I donāt like the idea of toll roadsā¦ But much like the cell phones you kind of end up using them out of necessity. My average monthly Toll Roads bill hovers between 400 to 600. Cheers @Indicana_Jones

Fucking barf man. I could stomach it better if i were getting these bills as they were populating. But to be hit with 3 years of bills right when i need to reregister my vehicles is a straight gut punch. And every month eventually comes along with $75 in fees and charges. That shits criminal.
