Indoor grow show

just my accountant brain here. It would probably only cost 2 grand to test then amend the soil for a water only crop using existing soil. Would be a much higher profit margin wouldn’t it. Less labor, less chemicals, easier and and and… no chemicals lol

You are referring to organic growing and I am not a fan of growing that way. The soil is hot so the first 2 weeks I don’t feed I just use water. When I do feed it isn’t just chemicals or as I call em synthetics lol and i feed 2 to 3 times a week depending on what week that are.

I have no remaining soil and I am not gonna dig up the land to use dirt and then try to ammend without a cement mixer and then having to let it cook it way more work and I prefer to spend money then time effort and workers if that makes sense. And this is just my small dep spot it is one of 3 spots I am doing outdoor so I dont have the time for all that

I buy my amendments in bulk premixed specific to the soil test and just rototill in. Easy Peasy lemon squeezy. No mixer needed. Never had a problem with my soil being too hot either. I had branches of bud 6 feet long last year. Most of my fight and labor was dealing with the effing caterpillars. To each his own. lol.

Preventative spray will handle the Caterpillars no problem. They are a pain in the ass tho if ur not prepared. Outdoors gotta be on top of preventative spraying. Get an orchard sprayer they are gas powered and are monsters

Looks good…heart beat away. Got the clones vegging already? Also you could add some manure in the fall and turn it in the spring next year…sits all winter. If your still there of course…looks good! Lotta work you do holy

Just hooked up the ro machine to the humidifier so I can stop adding more mineral buildup to everything in the room. Wonder how the room looks so healthy here’s my secret

and here’s an update. Ice cream cake and jungleboys cut of sundae driver. Some people think these are just fad strains but between the smell the color, the look and the high I dont see what makes people think it is just a fad. Good weed is good weed stop hating

I am down to answer any questions too. The setup is 12 gavitas on rolling tables. I do 2 layers of trellis and the pots are 5 gallon filled with tupur. I feed with mills and some other additives like humid and folic acid and i also use purpenator which i dont think really does shit but whatever. I dont use co2 burners anymore they are shit compared to good old fashion tanks. U see where my co2 and rh levels are at and will stay till like week 6 then I start lowering the temps and the rh. The room is pretty good now that I hooked up the ro machine so it should be smooth sailing for the next 7 weeks. I put these into flower on the 11th of this month. I foliar feed and I preventative spray I also lollipop before week 2 starts but I try to get it all done before I flip. I am constantly deleafing and keeping the canopy as even as possible and as open as possible. Mills pays the Bill’s and to be honest my nute routine is super simple I see some crazy formulas people are using on here and getting mediocre results. Growing is about keeping it simple and honestly if growing a1 weed was a pie graph nutrients would be a very small sliver of that pie. I’d say the most goes to environment and genetics over anything else so dont go getting too complicated or ur just taking brain power away from things that really make a difference

Solid advice…thanks for sharing. Why reinvent the wheel? Genetics is the most difficult to get right. IMHO

Genetics is the easiest to get if u look in the right spots. I run clones only because buyers want the hot names. People will buy a couple pounds of anything but when ur trying to sell a box or even a 20 pack people dont want unknown or oldschool strains. Never walked into a commercial grow and saw em growing orange goji or tigers blood

They should be growing Orange Gojo. I understand thou. I always wonder why people even grow shitty weed these days. Like AA or AAA grade weed. Like whats up with that?? Why waste time space and energy growing shitty weed? It should be all premium grass. I get it you got enough work to do with out worrying about mothers and clones and all the bullshit and space that takes up. Everyone want GSC Golliral and the big names

Yeah believe me I have nothing against orange goji I’ve never grown it or seen it in person. I am just giving an example that people that buy big packs want names people k ow and strains that test high and smell like gas or cookies or cake. I dont make the market I just am trying to get my shot sold asap and move on to the next. And honestly people dont really like lemon and orange Terps for the most part anymore people want color and gas

But people want these names for a reason cus this fire. Ogs and gg4 and sours are all fire I’d grow alot more og but it isn’t the best yielder. The runts I have is dumb loud but it also doesn’t yield as good. Everything I grow has to hit certain criteria. I save the strain hunting and testing for deps and full terms my indoor spots costs too much to play around

understandable…proven genetics and fast turn around. Stable also. You got enough things to worry about…getting payed paying the help soil building boxes outside pests phone bills rent insurance and the list goes on. then if you got an old lady or kids more things to worry about. Keeping up with the fads making sure you stay on top of that…fuck its never ending. Dry curing bagging it up…how do you sleep bro??? haha

I am from out if state so I dont have a ton of distractions. I have a dog and a bitch but no kids yet. I wake up het high and handle my tasks. everyday is different and it keeps it fun. I have access to workers when the season starts and I have a partner that is always on the move even more then me and he handles the warehouse for the most part and we have a nice couple people that help for harvest and planting and stuff. Believe me even with a bunch of grows and shit going on i still have time to stay super high and bullshit at night. I’d prefer thos over a 40 hour work week anyday

I do handle this 12 lighter and all the outdoor and dep stuff tho so my busy season is really about to start especially with 3 of my outdoor spots are new and I am building out the infrastructure

I have to agree some strains are hype but alot are just as good as described , that Sunday driver looks amazing and is the real deal or else I wouldn’t imagine you running it the way you do. When you run big rooms clones from proven genetics are the way to go, let breeders do the work of hunting down the good phenos instead of waisting your own time and space doing so. If your growing to breed them breed, if your growing to have a constant turn around of qaulity product you need to go with what works. Alot of cannabis is a name game like @Silversurfer mentions people want what they have heard of or are already familier with so having a bunch of new and or random names makes it alot less appealing. It’s not just about qaulity , it has to be top qaulity and be want people want and what people want is often now controlled by huge players in the game. If they have done the marketing and the strain is good anyways it’s stupid not to fill the void and rock it. successful growers grow what there people want and not what they are personaly interested in. When I used to run some larger grows we always filled the rooms and fields with blue dream or Trainwreck and I kept a small personal grow for some variety , I’d show my people other things and if they approved then grow a bunch. Alot of people think California weed is all hype but we have been at it quite a bit longer and have a much deeper rooted cannabis culture then other parts of the country. This tends to make people defensive and alot of places have caught up quick in regards to genetics but to assume every great Cali strain you hear about is hyped up will only cause you to miss out on some true fire. Only thing that ever caught my attention from anywhere else that wasn’t a landrace was blueberry from Oregon ( still west coast) and sour diesel and that is probably still California genetics brought over to new York threw old trade routes. Sorry for the rant but this guy shouldn’t have to defend why he chooses to grow killer weed In a state of the art manner, seems self evident. Also isent bodhi from NorCal, and isent goji from him, so if orange goji is so good which alot of people agree it is wouldn’t that just support the claim that good genetics come out of california considering half of the orange goji is goji og.
