Super Diesel, definitely no batteries req’d @SativaKid .
Its a deliscous and heavy smoke 100% that is NOT overwhelmed by “Diesel”. Earthy & some high Fruit smells are in there too. For being the First-time your seeing this, in your cross… I couldn’t be happier
Super Diesel is a smoke I always liked. I’ve grown about 10 indoors and always liked the smoke and underwhelmed by the plant. It had small Purple buds but way less sexy than the girl you grew. The larger buds made the major difference with the healthy shine also improving the beauty. It was one of the best Thai crosses so far. And oddly the worst Thai cross is the Red Headed Hippie from Red Rona. And Red Rona is fire. I want to try the Thai crosses we got from Dr. Jordan. You said one rocked. The Thai crosses well with Indicas. Thai x Caramel Cream was nice. I’m betting Thai x NL is also good, they’re competing in my flower room in the early stages.
I’m pulling the red rona from the freezer.
I’ve not tasted this one bit. All told we salvaged a good bit. This I’ll Get back to you on for sure @SativaKid
I have seeds from that Purple Thai, if you wanted a few for the stocking…
I’m good for seeds. Just soaking/starting Ronachrome, my best smoke overall. And Ronachrome x Wedding Cake plus Red Rona x Caramel Cream fems. Plus some Thai.
Those are beautiful plants. Wow! Those are quick finishing or do you just play them out as any other plant? I mean you know the stretch on them so you kinda have an idea? I’m just wondering about Sativa-ish growing plants indoors take a bit sometimes flowering. Now i’ve had to flop plants at the end because of the stretch but that’s amazing. You just look compfortable growing everything. The untopped plants, i mean how they’re growing is how I try to finish them in a tent. i’m on an anti Pop-corn campaign.
I pulled the most grass off lollipopping everything in my tent as a full on this works or doesn’t work. What I found was the main colas even had better more pronounced terps, dender cola’s, and overall less of a pain in the A to manage. Everything looks good dude. You’ll have to explain heating in the great north some other time. hehe. Happy Thanksgiving!
Morning @Baltimore… each of the 10 plants grown on OG Row this past Summer, I’ve never grown before and had zero history. And we knew they were growing wild… no Fimming no topping
All my early indoor efforts resulted in me growing Mini plants… only the last couple years have I Allowed the indoors to climb, and its been a huge boost to the grows.
Shaping the plants indoors, to produce multi-colas without Topping, has become my norm vs allowing them to grow 1 main-cola.
Happy Thanksgivings
2025 we are shaping plants outside, because low-lying Soy Beans are returning. We will be securing Branches u to the ground as they grow Up the incline and prevent a cannabis tree-line on the ridge.
Gonna miss the 9’ corn crop, it hides all kinds of shit
Here is the small hillside we are going to bring into play early in 2025
We saw how easily these plants dealt with Angles, so we are going to plant them (2025) on 45-degree angles, walk the plants up the ridge, shape as needed
After 10 days of yellow leaves from my mini lock-out, there have been 3-Lite meals of EWC tea and Epsom Salt.
The Tent smells alive and I’m leaning to a small amount of Bloom Fert, right at the 33% mark of recommendation, when the next feeding comes around. (Not tonight, they were fed 1.2L last nite)
Its been a spectacular year for Cannabis @Berryearthgrow. Thanks for stopping-in. Hope Your burning something SpEcIaL as well !
@GreenBhoy, I/we stayed ahead of the mold pretty well once again. Many Friends were run over by it this Summer. And BudRot, something I’ve not seen much of till this year.
Spraying the plants twice in June with a Sulphur spray is still the best defense and has proven to be effective in keeping it Out of the crops.
Hawaiian Snow was our only plant that really picked it (WPM) up, late in the season. We kept that at bay through the late stages of Bloom, with weekly sprays of 3.25% Milk / Water. No issues
Real growth on the Acapulco Gold buds, still, I’m noticing there are not very many Trichomes… yet. All while there are Pistils starting to turn Orange.
Throw in a little tincture time. I made a batch for a Friend… This one is Far from @anonymous4289 but contains 3 decarb’d strains of his; BlueBerry Diesel, Chem Fuego and Apollo Ape. Equal portions of bud from each filled a 800ml jar, 750ml of Everclear topped the jar nicely; 24 hrs later there is a 710ml liquid-yield in 95% alcohol, after straining
A little Hot under the tongue and feeling it within 10-15… Alls good (dark rum at 140proof remains the fav)
Was not able to check root ball last night, could not slide Pot from plant. Even mixing the soil amendment into the soil, was difficult. Lotsa Roots !! Extra hand was needed. We’ll fix that.
We’ll be trying this again ! Not wanting to damage any Roots, just want to confirm their health / status
The roots must like those holes with the Soil being a little more 3d, its Hanging-on vs just sliding-out.
How do you do that? It’s my goal (too much humidity) but only happens sometimes and not intentionally. Good looking plants, you shouldn’t bother about yellow leaves on sativas, have a great day …
Thanks for the reply, that goes against my LITFA religion , I prefer to grow them freely and barely untouched so they look as they should , no need for big harvests, anyway I’m glad that shaping gives you great results without any doubts …
