Can anyone recommend an inline carbon filter. and, not the regular carbon filters. this would something i could keep outside the tent and connect 6 inch ducting to both sides.
I have only seen smaller ones, but does this exist for weed stuff?

I will follow along. Sounds interesting. I would definitely buy one too.
yah dude, these bar lights don’t let me run an hvac from the top of the tent and its surrounded by walls so that’s the only option.
they exist…now need to find stateside.
i found this Active Air Inline Carbon Filter, 6"x24" ACCIF246 - Horticulture Source
or this 'Air Filter Box with High Efficacy Filter, 6-Inch - AC Infinity
not sure which to get
The ac infinity one isn’t a carbon filter, so that should help narrow it down ![]()
there is this one, but it is super expensive.
Wanted to add CAN filters are pretty widely distributed in NA. Any store can probably order that thing.
And you probably know this, but if you have a normal canister filter you can just blast into the open end. Obviously won’t help you duct it out of the room though if that is a priority.
Honestly not that bad in the long run. Has replacable filters that they say last 6-12 months. I get maybe 2 flower runs out of a ac infinity filter thats $100
i need two, and it hurts.
You could get a Y connector and attach both tents to the filter if both tents are in same room.
always wondered about this. how does it not back flow from one tent to the other?
If both exhuasts fans are at similar settings it shouldnt be a issue.
Or you could put one fan on the exhaust port of the filter and pull air from the tents and use dampners on the ducts running to the intake of the carbon filter to dial in airflows.
got two tents in 1 closet, vented into the attic.
i was thinking of just getting an outlet to the attic, putting a regular filter on an inline fan and just run the attic air through the filter. i wonder if this would work well enough. the smell in front of the house is a bit skunked up right now as it mostly comes from the attic.
i have this bad feeling i am going to spend the 1k.
I would be wary of venting warm humid air into your attic. Thats just asking for mold issues.
its 135+f in my attic most of the year. it doesn’t survive. biggest issues i’ve had was during winter months, the ac would be on all winter and water started coming out of my returns. just got extra insulation on the hvac lines to keep them from condensating, but ya, i understand.
that said, ac just went out…in the middle of harvest. i am going to lose pounds.
He just linked you the best ones. They are almost immortals lol
there doesn’t seem to be a US distributor that has them in country. i bought the 400 dollar one that is stateside. I didn’t want to pay VAT and shipping…and tariff…
There you go . Not a good idea to intakte from your attic then :).
Isn’t it possible to duct to another side of the roof?
The joys of skunk.
You do know that you won’t get rid of the smell with air /carbon filters right?.
If your air in the roof is warm and humid then the carbon filter will do nothing
