Hello everyone, i’m a newbie 2nd gen grower from the US mainly Florida living in Costa Rica. The first strain I ever smoked was Sour Diesel back in 2011 and that shit hit me like a knockout punch, been in love with weed ever since.
I first started growing when I moved to CR I realized that there wasn’t much great weed around & the indoor’s genetics/quality was not worth 300-400$ an ounce but I had brought a few bag seeds from dispensaries from the US. So I grew about 10 Indica’s outside, half died, 2 were male but after a few months I ended up with probably an ounce…once I saw my little plant go from a seedling to a smokeable product I was hooked
After that I got a 1000w LED light and it completely changed everything going from a 2ft plant to 4-5ft was amazing, I started looking at forums like OG to find tips and more information to grow better & I really hope to grow some massive beautiful monsters soon and show everyone

had a power cut for 4 days there and was amazed to see their growth considering no lights for 4 days.
was a fkn nightmare!

Welcome to OG WHF. Thats’ plant has got some strange looking leaves, looks like it started to re veg, did it go out side into a longer light period from inside?

Welcome to OG marne71, 4 days in the dark will start the flowering hormone development, so the plant may show signs of stress when going back into regular light period, depending on its age. I hope all goes well.

i had a power cut for 4 days man
was awful! had to cook on gaz stove camping thing
very dangerous indoors!
plus was in hospital for 4 days previously, got home to no power!
i swear to god worst week of my life!
and had to walk home from hosp 8 miles!
even my arse / ass cheeks are still hurting lol

gosh darn power and broadband sorted after - no exageration - about 18 calls to various power companies! they were frikkin useless then a lovelevly young lass sorted me in seconds (exscuse the double entendre)
im just a mellow toker with a somewhat “dodgy” past but im half a century old now so ive calmed down haha!
was a bit crazy back in the day but who wasnt?

Yeah, this was my first kinda test with my light, I grew in solo cups to start them & I was worried about them being root bound so I put them out a little early, the light cycle here in CR is 12/12 year round and I was running at 24/0 to veg… that picture was from a month or so ago the plants ended up doing quite well although I had to pull them a week early mold was a bit of an issue however I still ended up with a few ounces and great edibles from the trim so i’m happy
Next grow i’m hoping around September i’ll have some new seeds and i’ll veg them a lot longer and prepare the light cycle a bit better.

I’m sitting here with my sister-in-law who is from Alajuela in Costa Rica. Welcome to OG. I was there 3yrs ago. I wanted to see Monday Night Football and had to go to a different resort where there was satellite TV. I thought there was a pussy magnet in my pocket because there were hot ass women in there just giving me all kinds of looks and hot vagina vibes. Turns out, prostitution is legal there and I am still completely undesirable.
