Welcome @tranka someone will chime in soon…looks like you still have weeks to go though

You are probably in week two, so that means at least 6 or 7 more weeks. If it’s a sativa, at least 10 more weeks…

it’s really dependent on personal preference and strains. generally when all trichomes turn cloudy and some begin to turn amber and maybe a few still clear. i like sedation and couchlock so i go for 25%+ amber.

i have heard there’s a correlation between trichome maturity and effect anyways

@legalcanada has spoken !
Depends the effects that you are after (and the strain too, somehow on indicas i’ve found that even with less amber they are couchlock enough).
For recreation with wife, laughs I go for the “almost all trichomes turn cloudy and few (5%) begin to turn amber and maybe a few still clear”. For something more instrospective, night use, insomnia, I go like 25%+ amber too.

get your self a 10x to 30x magnifying glass and when tricomes are 20% amber she done

Is that a late season grow? When did you plant it?

I agree. This plant is maybe halfway through flower, if that in my opinion.

I agree but it looks like a 3rd season attempt. If so weather will dictate harvest date.

hi, ty you all, i didnt thinked about season when i planted, so problably is in the wrong season, but she started showing flowers, about a 1 month and a half, its seed from paraguauan pressed, so has about 1 month to grow yet?
sorry for the english, i’m from south hemisphere, so the summer is comming yet.

I would venture to say at least a month.

As a mandatory minimum i believe…

Hi @tranka your days are getting longer, and your plant (if photoperiod) might slow down its flowering and revert to vegatative growth. If it is in a container, bring it indoors and give it 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness every evening. If it is in the ground, see if you can find something (corrugated box or large garbage can) that you can use to cover the plant in order to provide it with the darkness necessary to reach full ripeness.
Good luck.:sunglasses:

you need to post a close up of one the buds

Have a single topic for your plant diary and stick to this topic, don’t start new topic each time. Also use search to find relevant topics and read also other topics about harvesting.

I see you are registered for 3 weeks but haven’t read single topic other than yours.
