confused, are they bean sacks forming?
someone mentioned foxtails, is it something i should worry about?
Give one a pinch, I’ll bet it’s hollow.
…It looks like a ‘String of Pearls’ phenotype to me…
I think Foxtails get a bad rap, I rather like them. I suspect they ‘freak out’ newer folks because they don’t stop growing making harvest time harder to call.

Looks more like Grinspoon than foxtails. What is the plant your growing? Inside or out? Feed? Age? Seed or clone? The more info you give the better.
Peace
What’s the genetics?

Hi there. Are Grinspoon and string of pearls the same?
Thanks
That’s where the String of Pearls was first widely documented, it occasionally showed up in the first offering of Grinspoon but interestingly, after they restocked it was gone.
It has also shown up in a couple other lines but always as a rare pheno.
I’m thinking it’s something like a double recessive but I haven’t seen any hard data like pheno ratios so basically we are on the edge of ‘bro science’ here ![]()
The few smoke reports that I have read all say it’s an outrageously stony high, the kind that usually have a warning about the possibility of inducing panic attacks… ![]()
It’s a low yielding pheno so nothing that a commercial business would likely be interested in.
I would love to take a shot at trying to stabilize that pheno…
Cheers
G
