So which seeds came from which animals butt?
:rofl:
I’ve heard of Civet cat crap coffee but never elephant, chimp, chicken or mule crap coffee.

Tell me… :thinking: Who was the first person that saw a pile of Civet cat crap, saw coffee beans in it and was Jonesing so bad for a cup that he figured “why not”. That dude had a caffeine problem in a major way.

I have some of this on my shelf!

I think we’ve all been there looking questionably at a peculator in a church, gas station, etc…

Dang man! I heard that shit is worth its weight in gold! Is it as smooth as they say?

No idea, my Dad got me 2 small packs (1 cup each) as a “I dare you” gift when on vacation with me mum. It’s a cute packet so rather than drink it I displayed it.

He doesn’t blame me. lol

@Pigeonman
I don’t know if I could bring myself to try it. OH crap, why lie… If I had no coffee (for days lol) I’d drink a cup of crap coffee. I mean I’ve pissed off enough waiters and cooks in my life there’s no telling what has been in the food I’ve eaten.
:rofl:

Oh geez, is that just got there don’t expect the other one for another week or two :crazy_face::crazy_face::crazy_face:

Not sure if anyone remembers me talking about making a seed sorter here

Finally made my band saw accessable and started resawing the 3x3’s… Two useful pieces when I was hoping for three, but that’s what I get for jumping right in instead of practicing on some scrap :roll_eyes:… after these two longer pieces, I’ll only need two other long pieces and everything else is short, so should have plenty between the two 3x3’s I have left. If not, I’ll throw in some hickory or cherry.

And yes, that is what the wood looks like in person, it’s not just moire from image acting weird

@ix3u

This device your making,
To sort seeds by size? Or to remove the chaff off the beans?

Very interesting woodgrain there…

Separates the chaff from the beans. I guess the design has been around forever, but I spur of the moment decided I need one!

I kinda expected you to use a mallet and 2-4 wedges to do this @ix3u !

That grain is cray-cray! :star_struck:

Is that how the white oak cut?

1 Like

Yeah, but it’s weird.
I guess technically it would be an optical illusion, it’s a combo of how the grain lines up with the resaw marks… I’ve been cutting quite a lot of wood the last couple years and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen it look like that.
