I had the pleasure of meeting her in Chicago back in 2010 when doing some collaboration with her foundation. Her people told me right away about her prosopagnosia, which I’d never heard of before. She was truly lovely and certainly had a remarkable presence. I talked to her about the fish of lake Tanganyika and Malawi

RIP Jane

Sad to hear of her passing, she was a good egg :sob:

I had the honour to meet her 12 years back in Kathmandu. She was highlighting the illegal puppy trade, around the same time she was setting up her institute.

RIP

I was saddened to read this. She was a champion for the animals she spoke for. Her documentaries were so very moving, especially the one with Apes and chimps. RIP Jane

She lived her life, spoke her truth, rather than parrot the status quo. Let’s learn from her example standing up for the truth. Lotta folks running around talking about their rights, but I hear very little about responsibilities.

May you be as prolific in the next “phase” of your journey as you were in this one.
