day 56 over here, things are on the down slide now. just watering and flushing and getting things cleaned up for the harvest.

Im currently struggling hard now that the ac is off in my home due to cooler weather.
Im hitting 88-90F lights on if i keep tent closed due to dehumidifier.
Even dealing with 84-86F at lights off just to keep RH around 48-53%.
Its rough i have to almost choose between high RH and low temps or high temps and low RH. Arghhhh

I feel pretty lucky. My 4x4 is in a shed outside. A lung room of a sort. I can keep lights on at 80-84. Rh below 60. When my lights come on, temps are low to mid 70s, Rh around 60.
My dehum is in the lung room and never shuts off. I run a 6" heater at night if it’s cold. It it gets much over 80 outside, I turn my light down a couple clicks.
That bud mold will go thru so fast @JAWS . I’ve looked at stuff hanging one day, thrown it out the next.

Im trying to keep rh below 50% but that is causing my temps to run into 88-90F. I have a dehum in the tent and in the lung room. They both run almost all day.
There isnt much i can do besides open the tent at lights on to lower temp until the cold weather rolls in.
Im really on edge about mold. I have a very thick canopy and some buds are getting very fat. I have a lot of airflow but i still am very nervous.

I’m guessing this has already been tried, but does it help to run a dehumidifier in just the lung room? And then not in the tent at the same time. I’m curious bc I would assume that the dehumidifier in the tent is raising the temp in there. So maybe if it’s running only in the lung room it might lower the temp in the tent and also still reduce the humidity in the air that’s about to go into the tent.
Anyway, just a thought.

Ya man i tried everything haha. I just want to be SURE that no mold can spawn on my nice chunky buds thats why i run it inside or it will go up to 60 in no time
@JAWS recent mold experience has me biting my nails watching my inkbird sensor every chance i get. I need to relax and smoke one haha

I had one plant out of 5 that had a tiny spot of mold @seeds2weeds . I took 2 down and the rest a few days later. Wasn’t willing to take a chance. Because I had that tiny spot, I washed all 5. Been doing so for years. Got used to it from spraying outside.
Done correctly there’s no difference.

I think the choice to offer feminized seeds is excellent as a way to bring in new customers. Back when I was first starting up when I would shop for seeds I would always look at fems first. (Now I prefer reg usually, but we’re talking a different customer demographic compared to the normal OG member.)
GLG has a few breeders who offer fems but honestly not many. So having a feminized option would really help to stand out on their site.
Lots of people live in states that have recently legalized. Many of the people who want to grow will have no idea where to start. The advice they get online a lot of the time is to start with fems. And if they’re like me they’ll end up browsing at GLG but also get intimidated at all of the “regular” seeds for sale.
I see this is a cool way to hopefully expand a customer base and help to get the JAWS name out there
