Jinglepot’s Grow and Adventures

Here’s a little Autoflower update. Although not even close to a small harvest off Photo period plants these buds are Super duper sticky and the scents are unbelievable. Pretty flowers too!

These CDLC are probably my favorite if the bunch right now. The gas smell is so strong mixed with a sweetness. The buds are the second stickiest.

The Forum Stompers take the cake for trichome coverage and smell just like juicy fruit gum! If I didn’t have an affinity for diesel strains (gas strains) I think Forum Stomper would be my favorite.

The Black Cream are by far my favorite visually. Absolutely stunning!

I also grew 3 Meph Montsters and all 3 went full hermaphrodite! The only 3 of all my plants and all were Meph Monsters. I’m not talking a couple bananas, I mean full Hermi.

The Green Crack clones are doing pretty well, especially since the temperatures have been well above 30° outside I’m surprised they havent baked yet.

I also forgot about and found this seed laden branch hanging in a cupboard!! The large female Transkei x Durban Poison crossed with my shorter earlier SLH male!

Lots going on, not much time! Lol, story if my life!
I received today from @VAhomegrown the Green Crack x Big Sur Holy Weed (GCxBSHW) For the next AND FINAL seed run for a while. I have an assortment if strains I would like to flower for myself. There will always be some pollen chucks and such. But a HUGE shout out to @VAhomegrown fir giving me the opportunity to preserve this fantastic strain. I will be making a seed run thread for it as soon as I have some time, do some research and grab info, pics and details in the strain!

Yum! I used to have a Big Sur Holy connect who lived in Santa Cruz back in the early 90’s and occasionally had seeded nuggs! When I lost the Herojuana, the seeds we popped to replace her – and which many people later came to know as Herojuana – were Herojuana X Big Sur Holy.

Lots on the go! Unfortunately all my lights are off, so youre gonna have to take my word for it

I do have a Green Crack clone update though!
They seemed to have survived the INSANELY hot water Temps in the bubble cloner. I have 3 that have healthy roots and could be planted tomorrow, which is better than expected after the heatwave. I also have 4 more that are just showing tips of roots!

If all goes well, I hope to be able to afford 2 Green Cracks to back cross with some Holy Crack pollen! :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Very cool. Tell me @Jinglepot do you submerge the stem in the water in that bubble cloner or do you let it hang just above the water line to catch the mist? See folks doing it both ways sometimes

It starts submerged then after about a week its just getting splashed

You mean just from the water naturally evaporating? Or do you raise em up?

Just from evaporation, or more from what they uptake I dint think there is a lot of evap as it’s pretty sealed up, but yea the water levels lower and some are out and some are in. I’ve had people tell me to have them just getting splashed, but this works for me

Nice, I’ve had middling success with the bubble cloner and am always trying to tweak my technique to get it dialed a little better. Haven’t used mine in a while but have had good luck with the old root root plugs under a dome. Still got the bubble cloner in the corner though and I’m always thinking about givin’ ‘er another go

I find cooler water is better, takes a little longer for roots, but you don’t get the algae or mold growth. The bubbles are also key too. Not all airstones create the small bubbles needed for proper aeration. I’ve been told multiple times that splashing is better.

I added Rhyzotonic, B52, Floralicious Plus, Flora Blend and Diamond Nectar at 1/4 strength to my reservoir and I let each cutting sit in Stim-root #1 for about 45 - 60 seconds before adding to the cloner. The rooting gel is no good for bubble cloners, when they sit in the powder it woll activate the area. It washes off when added to the cloner, but the powder doesn’t get all… gloopy in the water, lol
