Its just crazy, I’ve never seen a plant like that.
Get this!! That plant has been on 12/12 since like November 2020!!!
Was in a one gal pot and I was suggested the small pot was creating the situation so I transplanted to 2 gal and still no fix or change. I didn’t add Anything but a mix happy frog and roots organics for the transplant.
Let’s say the soil is too hot, would she grow out of it eventually or get too stressed and possible succumb to whatever is going on? Or just finish out her days like such.
I even tried just doing straight distilled ph’d water and no changes. I did the same with cal-mag and no changes. So I just sticking with distilled water with a little Urb which is humic acid.

Wow, maybe @Upstate would have some input. I think he’s grown some landrace stuff.
Looks like too much nitrogen to me. Soil was definitely too hot. Leaves that claw like that are an indicator of too much fertilizer, generally nitrogen being the culprit. Some landrace plants are very poor at processing nitrogen. Varieties from Thailand in particular… I don’t think they will grow out of it. But you should get a harvest anyway . I would cut back the light cycle to get these babies to finish. Drop it back to 11 hours on 13 off. That plant must be Thai dominant. They take 6 months to finish regardless of light cycle. If you’re lucky you’ll be looking at an end of May Harvest, probably later . They can flower indefinitely with a 12-hour cycle Hang in there! That stuff will probably be rocket fuel!
Thanks for popping in buddy. I knew you would have an idea.
For something like that, good garden soil cut with perlite and some compost or castings should be all that you need. And I would even go light on the castings due to the extra nitrogen. I’ve run into the same thing before over fertilizing sativas, but haven’t had the leaves claw like that yet
The curly q queen… crazy curls!
Change your soil to straight pro mix for sativa outdoor holes… looks like too much chicken poop/ N hot soil.
And only run bloom nutrients not grow.
That’s awesome to say least northern sativa dont do that curl they just pray.
Here’s an update of the 2nd to last plant to harvest in this grow and then this one comes to a close.
Here is Burning Love no.2 which has blown away my expectations and starting to outshine Burning Love no.1 which btw was a lovely and easy plant to grow. Only gripe is the long flowering time but for the sativa high it’s worth it! This plant is now just packing on the frost! I know she’s very close to harvest! Hardly any amber spotted but there was a few spots here and there. Mostly milky and I think I will take down after tonight and leave in 48 hrs darkness then making 14wks for the chop.
The last plant in this odd grow is my Red Thai x Assam HP which was my first experiment with making some beans and I wanna report success!! Pollen used was Nigerian Yoruba Bantu and One Eyed Mule (Durban x Congo/Transkei)
Congratulations! And so it begins. ![]()
Oooh, I’d love to trade for a few. I just want to see if those freaky leaves breed true
I was told which I believe to be true is that this plant is experiencing some nutrient difficulties.
These landrace sativas I was told prefer very little nutrients in order to grow and finish.
But yes I’m open to a trade or two if still interested! @anon93244739 Shoot a dm and let’s chat

This plant main genetics is Thai meets India meets Africa

Who knows what I’ll end up with but the beans look like they gonna be about the size of some lentils! Sativa Power!

Burning Love no 2 got the chop today and she will no doubt be good medicine. She smells way different than no 1 and this BL is all green.
Finishing at 2 feet in a 1 gal pot on 12/12 from seed. I could see running the entire tent footprint with these awesome plants for a killer cola harvest SOG style.
Absolutely!!! 10 or 12 of those in one harvest would definitely do the math !
Burning Love no 2
Wasn’t expecting this flower to dry so quickly but she is very light and fluffy and so I suppose that is why the buds dried so fast. But I gotta it all jarred up and humidity ain’t to bad at 53. Just gonna leave it alone for a few days and hope the smell gets stronger. When ground up this scent of rotting cantaloupe or melons comes to mind. Very unique! Sharp earthy notes as well.
As is, has a nice clean high, no come down but more on the spacey side. I went into a room to get something and I just had that item in my mind, but couldn’t recall what I needed

so I guess this flower is best for just chilling and relaxing and enjoying time and space. Some what similar in effects as the BL no 1 but the potency on this pheno is more noticeable
5 days is a pretty quick dry man. What was your temp/humidity?
Our last grow ended up being tiny plants, but we still got about 10 days drying. The grow before that, we hit 2 weeks. It sure takes practice. My brother in law is a master at environmental control.
Temp ranged from 63-72 and rh was not the best at 23%
I have two humidifiers But each in a tent.
Living in the high desert of the south west means arid conditions year round For the most part.
Does this mean I need to buy another humidifier or what are other options? I was thinking of drying plants in my flower tent but problem is when lights are on the temp gets to consistent 80 degrees but I’m able to have a maintained RH of 45.
Open to suggestions

I would definitely get another humidifier if you can, and also try to cool your drying area a bit. Keep air movement to a minimum also. Direct, blowing air will dry them out quickly also. You want air movement, just not much.
