Johnnypotseed’s 3-ring circus - with autos, photos & sex…reversals, that is! (Part 1)

I wouldn’t know the first thing about em cuz. since my gall bladder was taken out, I tend to stay way from the ‘spicier’ things. that’s about the only thing that messes with me. I even had to tone down my damn favorite NC style BBQ because of it lol

Man I still got my gall bladder and I cannot handle spice, I’m the weenie at breakfast who’s fanning his face after he has some Frank’s on his eggs (you may all begin your playful harassment now) I grew the poblanos because I was told they’re as mild a pepper as you can get. Love the flavor, can’t hang with the spicelords

Hey you’re the one who’s taking the loss when I soil myself from both ends of my body at your kitchen table after you give it to me :joy::joy:

the Carolina Reaper is hotter than the Ghost pepper though
Which is of itself hotter than hell lol

but I did love em pickled or as seasoning in some foods

You can actually get a buzz from the endorphins just planting seeds. Was planting Trinidad Scorpions a few years ago, just 20 seeds, lick my finger, pick up a seed, drop in place, repeat. After 20 seeds I had a nice head buzz. the heat wasn’t too bad, only mild, but damn, the buzz was awesome!

now if I chewed those seeds up. who knows what kinda fire I woulda had to put out LOL

All this reminds me of the Guatemalan Insanity Peppers from the simpsons :joy::joy:

Ghost has a little more smokey kinda flavor to me. Carolina is more just pure heat. Dry em up, pulverize and make hot sauce  Just be careful when you pulverize, if that gets airborne, its worse than pepper spray!

Childs play! Scotch bonnets are nice, on the hotter side, but nowhere near ghost, reapers or scorpions. Hell, even “pequenos” (these little gumball sized peppers that come in every color and beg you to eat em) are hotter than the bonnets were for me.

I got into really hot peppers a few years ago. Growing from seed was a PITA because for next summers crop, you are usually starting them in the next month! Without a tent or lights, it was a PITA. With them, its a different story. But they also want REALLY warm media to germinate in, and can take a long time. I think this winter will be much more fun starting the peppers inside…

Hey @LegsMahoney was that Maggies Farm the Maggies I am thinking of? Knowlton, VT?

Helluva deal we got her 2 yrs ago at 5-6 weeks old, all the shots, neutered and chipped $25

Even funnier is all 3 of these bigass dogs backed TF up when they went to check it out and she growled at em all   :+1:
