I’ve always done wet trimming, but when there is a lot to get in. then it’s a bit of both. I find it easier to do it while the plant is fresh cut. Plus they dry to the ‘cure point’ faster. without mold/mildew, which you can sometimes get in hanging the whole plant. If i have to hang the entire thing, I try to at least get the fan leaves off.

I’m in seed heaven here lol I had a very generous batch of PPP given to me by Badger (no longer around here) Then @DougDawson sent me a nice pack to split with @Oldjoints. I split that pack with him, and then later he decided he didn’t need it and gave that to me also, lol… So i ended up with 3 nice little baggies of PPP pollen!
I hit every damn strain, hard, I had in the outdoors garden!

I started early again this morning, after a kinda lazy start lol 4:30AM… still got a few hanging to go, just mulching the buds down not worried about smoke since I have plenty of jars full of a variety of strains.
But, lol I AM saving the mulched down bud into jars to cure and maybe turn into hash or such.

The Willie Nelson IS nice cuz no doubt lol but it’s not as good as some I have. Like Frankie, Frankie’s bride, and tyrannabisRex to name a few. Plus, it’s a 10-12 week plant which means costlier to run on it’s own, due to the longer budding time.

It’s the name more than anything I think cuz lol not knocking it, since it IS a very good smoke…it’s just not ‘the one’ if ya know what I mean lol
Whereas Frankenstein, on the other hand IS 
look, I’m as big, OR BIGGER stoner as any… I’ve grown many a cross that I discontinued because it was not ‘up to snuff’ We smoke a LOT here daily, going through an oz every 2-3 days at most.
If something isn’t up to it in my book, I don’t give a damn if it’s one of my own crosses or another…I stop growing it!!
For me to grow and smoke Frankenstein DAILY should give you an idea of the high regard I hold this cross I made 20+ years ago!!!
The large variety I grow is mainly for the Dispos, they want variety, which is fine with me lol I like to smoke different strains also, but the main one is always Frankie lol

Oh there’s no way in hell all these seeds I’ve just produced will be ‘snapped up’ lol at least no time soon… I’d love to send seeds around the world, I’m just not set up like a lot of other seed producers with international distributors, and the logistics & cost involved

As of this last seed run I’ve done, I hit literally over 125 plants with a load of pollen, and there are thousands of seeds lol
Also, that wasn’t an ‘open pollination’ I selectively picked branches of each plant. Some plants multiple branches, with different strain pollen. But the most success was with the PPP
But with over 125 plants, you can imagine the number of seeds!
