Oh it was like that here also, often! lol We’d take a few hits and set that killer bowl down, smoke a doobie for a ‘break’ lol
@MoBilly , @Oldjoints , @BigMike55 lol Rose just said to tell y’all she got the way she is outta self-defense when she first got with me! ![]()
But, lol tbh… we haven’t done that in a few years! lol I just gotta wild hair and said F-it’ By the time we went to bed, lol I was pretty much pain free, except for my chest!
she’s too sweet to insinuate that she might be embellishing the truth… but she seems to be too… … … well practiced for only 45 years of smoking pot…

She smoked pot before we met, just not on the scale I was into at the time! lol
If I wasn’t working (sometimes even then!) I was smoking Ganja! lol
Actually, some of my best carved turquoise pieces were done while I was smoking!
@pipecarver you being a hand-crafted type of fella, lol can appreciate these. A few pics of some of my work when I was doing silversmithing and turquoise carving.
We had a brick & mortar storefront in Myrtle Beach, SC. Also a website, and also sold on EBay & Etsy, Also set up n sold at pow wows, rodeos, flea markets, etc. all over the country.
You rock at that stuff brother, no pun attended lol. That feather necklace has some energy in that picture… ears started ringing lol.
Lots of folks on here have seen these one time or another. I was looking at @pipecarver work with the wooden bowls and figured show him some of mine.
Very cool, I tumbled rocks for a while, didn’t do anything with them but it was a fun process. I still have them around here somewhere, gave a bunch to the Grand kids but they just sit in a jar.
A home made machine with 3 tumbling tubs I had to keep burping and cleaning. I got used to the rumble of them in the basement and I could tell when something was off by the tone of the rumble. usually popped a seal and the water leaked out.
It took a while to get used to the silence again after I shut it down. It was a soft reassuring rumble/vibration I got used to
I made pens and bowls for a bit too. I hop around, when bored. I bought a small wood lathe to make pipe stems and to get used to working the tool I made pens
Hey Johnny, Drying is the weakest part of my growing, without a Cannatrol how do you get your temps down to dry your stuff? I can get 60-62% but 60-62f is impossible so I dry too warm too fast and then rehydrate in Grove bags. Its the best I’ve come up with but its not ideal.
We have complete control of our room’s environment. The barn was over-insulated and a vapor barrier, on all exterior walls & ceiling. With that done, controlling the humidity/temps is no problem.
This was a build-out done specifically for a commercial grow op. It had to be right.
It’s so ‘dialed in’ we can change the numbers by as little as 1 degree or 1%
When you open or shut the doors to the rooms, you can feel the pressure(closing) or suction(opening) lol
Yes, that’s the only way really. If I could afford a Cannatrol I’d bite but up here delivered $4000.00 so that’s a hard nofkinway. My smoke is Okay but it could be better I keep thinking. I made a 3x3x3 box with an exhaust fan a small osculating fan and a humidifier with passive intakes. I may hok up an intake and exhaust with my air conditioner and run 60*f air through it. I made this sketch with a small freezer but why use a freezer to do air conditioning
I’m not familiar on smaller set-ups, Our drying/curing room is 8’x8’x8’
It’s even seal/insulated on the floor. Like I said, when you open the door, you feel the suction. When you close the door, you feel the pressure.
Very easy to adjust the numbers with that setup.
Are you familiar with Tyrolean pipe stems and mouthpieces?
Damn Johnny, consummate pro.
Unrelated to weed, I am planning on buying a shed, heavily insulating it, rigging it with a jacked-up wall air conditioner, and basically creating a refrigerated room for storing cut flowers. Think florist, not dispensary. It would run for 3 months out of the year.
This post helps me see a secondary use
which is nice since I like getting more value out of my investment. Oh, the gizmo that jacks up the air conditioner is called a coolbot - Home Depot carries them now.
Gonna shut it down here, folks.
Good Night OG!
Good morning Johnny, good morning OG’s. Another fine week ahead, have a good day today.![]()
