Well, the first leg is a done deal, two big stents in upper and 2 smaller ones below the knee. Now it’s a waiting game to see if I can keep my leg/foot. They’ll do the other leg in about a week.

I’m not going to just roll over and say take the leg lol I’m in the same camp!
The doc is a ‘gloom-sayer’ he told the wife they’d take the leg right below the knee. When she told me I was like WTF?! he’s got her scared
That was IF they had to amputate he said

That’s a horrible! I talked to a doctor about cancer survival a while ago. He said the deciding factor was what people believe. People who decide to enjoy life despite the medical conditions all survive longer than the people who worry and focus on the gloom and doom.

I had surgery last year. They had entire conversation about me that I never heard. I’ve slowly gotten the info over the last year. I completely get what you are saying.
I was never told how sick I was. My wife got the whole: he almost died thing though.
