Ugh… I feel’s y’all with the rough night. I passed out at 12am, got woken up at 2am and don’t really think I slept as I can recall the passage of time since then. Just lay there meditive breathing that clearly did not work.
Gonna be a tough haul today so I’m mentally prepared for a Gambling problem Chaucereque trudge from the moment I leave the house.

I used to have a little 2-3 cup coffee pot with a timer in my room that I’d set for 5 minutes before my alarm when I was a teenager. Smack the alarm and walk 5 ft to start drinking coffee.

Alarm??? Who needs alarms. I’m up every day at 6:00. Once my eyes open, that’s it.
That is unless I do a little wake n bake with some killer smoke. Then I might nod for awhile.

I do. I went from being a super heavy sleeper to being a much lighter sleeper over the years but my body has never decided it wants to wake up in the morning unprompted.

I don’t either!! Regardless of time going to bed, 6:00 I’m out of bed!! At times making sure I wake up (my body that is…!) five minutes before so I can turn the damn thing off! And avoid its annoying intrusion, even when justified!!

I think the US Army did it to me. Up with revielle every morning. Then after I was discharged my job always got me up early.
You will probably not believe it, but my work ethic is second to none. In my entire career, I have never once been late to work. I think I may have called in sick a couple times. Maybe three. Due to severe sicknesses. Just the way I was raised.
