If you guys want a different type of movie to watch try Midsommar. I wouldn’t exactly call it a horror movie though it does have some fairly horrific scenes in it.

@Oldjoints great rec! Midsommar is wild. Definitely different. If you like folk-horror then this is the feel-good family film for you! I saw that one in the theater after eating a homemade edible that I severely underestimated the strength of, I nearly bailed out in the popcorn line due to the paranoia. Glad I stuck with it - that was one of the most unique and intense theater experiences I have had.

When my youngest boy was about 12 yrs old he begged me for months to let him watch IT. I refused and told him it was too scary for him. He wouldn’t relent and I finally gave in and let him watch it.
Once it was finished he looked at me and said Dad why would you let me watch that, it scared the shit out of me, I will never feel the same about clowns ever again……… OOPS!

Oklahoma has taken over as the number one exporter of ganja to the rest of the country. That ‘3000’ is a gross understatement, heck… they probably busted that many just the past year!

It has also destroyed the market for smaller commercial growers here. Hard to make money at the price the dispenseries here are willing to pay.

I agree with @Oldjoints on that! Prices dropped through the floor. In just a few year period went from over $2000-$3000 down to less than $600- $1000 for a pound being offered by the dispos.

No doubt! Definitely a lot more. That 3000 figure is just the number of grows that they think are being operated by foreign mafias. So I’d wager that there’s at least the same number of ops being run by some of our homegrown good ol’ boys (or maybe just “homegrown ol’ boys” for some of ‘em)

Merely implying that some of the domestic folks running those “extra-legal” grow ops are probably good folks, while some others… maybe not so good. I was trying to have fun with my wordplay and it seems to have gotten away from me there. Been a problem ever since I was a tadpole
