Good morning JP and OGs! @BigMike55 like I said your going to love that Blue Dream, by itself or mixed. Im going to have to grow more than one each run cause I like it so much. Also, great outdoor grower too!

Good Morning OG!
Over the years, the Blue Dream has been a very popular building block in making many great hybrids! There is a reason for that!

Love Blue dream, cant get enough of it.
Always wanted to know if the terps stay if you do a bubble hash run or would I need a Butane extraction to capture it similiar to kushes.

Blue dream has always been a huge favorite of mine… i like it in its full original form un crossed…

Goodmorning brother

I can’t hit that with a like, brother!

Oh noooo!!! I know, it’s probably the top used method, but it’s also a bad method! It’s fast, is the only reason the processors use it.
Well, lol that and the yield is ‘decent’. There are other/better ways though. I prefer Dry Ice method, then run the hash produced through the heat press.

Although… i will say… im sure all crosses made by you w blue dream are phenomenal!

It’s a cross itself, Blueberry x Haze

I have ‘fails’ aplenty, lol. I appreciate you my friend! I just try to keep busy with my experiments. I like to see what comes of crossing different top shelf(of course) strains/hybrids! lol

The fails never make it to the list!

Yea its a nasty way but dont worry I havent tried to do it. Only curious if the flavor of BD we love gets washed out when making bubble hash. (film of flavor in the wash bucket)

I may give the dry ice method a try to see if that captures more flavor. I know it really comes down to strain/plant dependent.

Not gonna lie brother. I’ve tried it, along with every other usual method known! lol Dry Ice works best, to my notion.
Edit… there is one I haven’t tried that I was always curious about. The CO2… I have smoked the result, but never tried the method myself.

Co2 hash suuuuucks! I tried it… it coulda been made bad… but it tasted like total shit

I looked for the c02 extracted back then as I didn’t want to go poof! haha
Also for the cleaner product.

I really wish I could get the photos from back then. Had this batch of NL. Pure yellow thick slabs with craters all over it. Very stable. Then when the fire og batch came, it was soupy oils.

It’s a pretty well used method by purists, so I’d say it was probably not done right?

Co2 over ice and water?? For the purists? That seems contradictory
