Flower Tent Day 29

Need some help. One MM/NT has yellowing leaves, a very yellow mainstem, and yellow branches. Any clue what is causing it?

I feed 4ml cal/mag, 4g Jacks 10-30-20. Bumped ph from 5.8 to 6.1 and added 2g Epsom salt last feed, thinking it was a Mg def.

@OleReynard This is the plant you didn’t like the structure of. 5th week from flip and she is flopping like a fish. Should have listened to you and saved me the trouble!

Damn, it’s been awhile. Decided to journal this grow, so here goes.

In my flower tent I have 3 Bubbleheads, 1 Orange Gogi, and one Mother’s Milk. These were all clones or mom’s. The MM was a mom for almost a year and she’s not happy about being grown out.

In the veg tent. Front is a Grand Daddy Purp, next 2 are Franco’s Lemon Cheese, and the back two are Bubba Kush.

This is the Bubba Kush, right rear, 6 days ago.

Once the roots hit the rez on these Octo’s, plants tend to blow up.

Plan on a defol on the GDP and topping the Bubba Kush in the next week.

I’m curious to run the Octo’s with less soil like @BarefootAndBlazed. Maybe next run.

I haven’t trained a plant in quite awhile. Decided to spread the GDP out while defoliating. Forgot how much I enjoy it.

She will bounce back fast in these Octo’s. Will have to do the Bubba’s tomorrow. Still need to sterilize my cloner and I need clones off of them. Also turned the box fan to max. Get more air moving in this tent.

Love how fast these plants bounce back when we mess with them.

GDP less than 24 hrs later.

Also realizing, taking pics 30 min before lights out isn’t the greatest idea!

Flower tent Day 30

The Bubblehead flopped pretty hard. Spent the evening with yo-yo’s tying them up. Not perfect, ran out and need to order more.

Overall, happy with the tent. The Mother’s Milk may bounce back. If not, not a deal breaker.

Looking good bro glad things are clicking for ya! I always thought the droop before lights out was an interesting phenomenon seems ya can almost set a watch by it at times.

Transplanted the clones 35 days ago into the Octo’s. Time to flip. It always fascinates me that two clones in the same environment can grow at different rates. These 2 Bubba Kush are a prime example.

Bubba Kush

This Bubba is the biggest plant in the tent.

Franco’s Lemon Cheese

Grand Daddy Purp

Thanks for stopping by and tagging along.

@BarefootAndBlazed How have your results been using less medium in the Octo’s?

Your plants are looking great, man!!!

I’ve been planting a variety of strains to find new moms since I restarted my garden from scratch at the end of last year. Everything I’m growing at the moment is in a normal 1 or 3 gallon fabric pot, but my last round with Octopots did well with less media. I planted 6 autoflowers to inaugurate the new garden and rolled the bags down so they contained maybe 3-4 gallons instead of 6. Three of the plants yielded between 3-4oz each, while the other three gave me between 5-6.5oz each. I’m extremely pleased with that result.

I’ve found moms of a handful of strains, so soon I’ll be able to switch back to the Octopots with rooted clones. I likely won’t fill my Octopots all the way ever again. I don’t think the plants need the full 6 gallons of soil to produce well since they get all their nutes from the reservoir.

I agree totally I normally fold the bag down by about 6 to 8 inches

Thanks for the reply. Love the Octo’s, but with full sleeves height becomes an issue.
