Josh Blue's infinite grow

It never ends. It just keeps growing. All are welcome. I’m here to learn and teach. I’m just a humble messenger of the law of 1.

Starting off here at the end of 2024, there are lots of projects in process. I have done lots of pheno hunting the last few years and am constantly testing from seed, clone, and outdoor grows. From seed, to flower, to rosin, and everything inbetween.

Currently we will be looking at selections from 18 lines. Some I am just releasing that I have ran thru the gauntlet. Some just on their clone runs.

Heres the line up and my labeling system to make some sense of the chaos that is my mind.

The first 2 digits are the year. The next numbers are the seed line number that year. The third set of numbers are the pheno number in the line.

Humble beginnings. Starting with rooted clone selections from the last couple of years. These came from in stasis veg. Where the par was around 75 to 150 ppfd. I transitioned them to the pheno flower room 3, and put them under 250 ppfd. They didn’t like it one bit. They stalled a little and showed light intensity stress. I increased the feed and reduced the intensity. Typically I like to match intensity and bring it up slowly, around 2% a day. No worries, they will bounce back with a little tlc in no time.

These will be spread out to 9 plants per 4x4 spacing, my favorite lay out for ease of growth and training, while being able to see natural structure. Typically I dont trellis my pheno hunts, so I can see growth traits, but this is the second plus run on all these selectios. So I already know the growth structures.

Heres some of the signs of light intensity stress in my garden. Leaf twist, and yellowing up top. Followed by interveinal chlorosis.

Heres some shots of the roots on transplant day.

I cloned these on 11/1. Transplanted to solo (500ml) of coir on 11/17. Then tp’d to 8" pots (3000ml), on 12/3.

I generally hand water until roots fill in and require daily waterings. Then I either transplant or set up irrigation.

The 24-9 line are ancestral skunk regs (skunk 1 89’ open field pollination).

Here we are a few days after transplant. They are drying out and stretching roots to the bottom just how I like it!

When did you do the mother of berries cross?

I did a cross to a mob s2 clone my friend gave me. I’m still waiting to aquire the original cut from Electric Stoner or my homie owolfie, to make a cross to my blue star line.

The s2 cross was a really small batch that I haven’t got to testing yet.

Day 20 veg from rooted cuts
And tools of the trade for building drip manifolds. Some netafim 1/2" tubing, and drip depot connectors that work really well for easy installation. The heat gun is the trick to get the tubing on the fittings easily.

We got some stretchers in the bubba star cross. 3 potential keepers are being ran back now in this grow. I’ll see if I got any pics sorted from the original seed hunt. I didn’t have my glamour close up harvest shots sorted, but heres a close up late flower shot.

I was messing around with pulling some pics from my back up google photos and always have a challenge sharing them in some way. I cant just add them as an attatchent to here or ig or email. Actually I can add them here, and 1 at a time in email. While downloading one and saving it, it made the back ground pure black. I think it made my pic look pretty sharp compared to the original.

Heres an example,

Those look pretty chunky and yes black looks better 4 sure. Nice pastel colors too

Black back ground gets my vote, most folk have a black tent inside just to take pretty pics in front 'ov these days… either that or the reflective silver color inside those said tents to compare their precious grows

Ironically thats the black tent background. We have a photo app called canva where i learned I can change the background to black easily. Heres an example.

Working more on my pic skills in canva. Here I did a black background and added my logo.

This is Schrom Star

The mother dominated with added skunk and diesel from blue star. The original aromas coming off them are lemon, skunk, and diesel. When they dry n cure, they bring on a heavy incense haze and cat piss profile added to the base line menthol/eucalyptus, making this a very complex, rich, and enjoyable smoke. Schrom was sourced by my partner, an old cut we believe to be romulan x santa marta gold. Its a very zippy heart palpitating effect by itself, with a lemon-lime zing flavor.

First pic is my boy Rex aka pbr (pretty boy rex) aka rb (rexy bear) aka senior rexington, hes around 13 years old. Hes had tumors for the last couple years and we have went thru a couple full rounds of rso. Still fighting and making the most out of life. Loving and having fun. Eating snacks!

2nd pic is my girl Cooper aka winnie cooper, aka coop doggy dogg, aka coop diddy (thats not cool any more lol) aka super cooper. Shes going on 23 years old. She went thru a bout of pooping gel like bloody stool and thought we were loosing her. But shes back at it, leaping 6’ off the couch still. She reminds me of the dog on theres something about mary, when the dog gets the speed pills . She barks at me for a treat after every time we come inside. When i go out to pick up her poop from the yard and come back in, she barks at me till i give her a treat. Ain’t that a bitch. “Pick up my poop, and give me a treat”. We attribute her old age to getting into a super high doses of rso a few times.
