I could definitely see skunk 1 in the iss from my perspective.
Our iss cut was skunk up front, with menthol/eucalyptus base. Then some tropical fruit notes blended in. The cross to blue star Im calling Bliss currently. They are pungent fantastic aromas mentioned above with some blueberry phenos added in from the bs. But the overall profile for me reminds me of spearmint gum. The offspring from the bliss line go 2 main ways, the tight nugged bs phenos that have more of the candied tropical fruit n blueberry, or the spear tip large yielding sativa leaners that have skunk profile up front with the pungent menthol eucalyptus that drives the other aromas. I haven’t released them yet. I have about 5 lines i been growing for the last year or 2 that are ready to drop, but I will probably wait till after we drop the f4 blueberry fem lines.
Sounds like a bunch of winners to me. I do like the look of sweet skunk flowers big and fluffy usually. The fella that passed me his says his are golfball budding plants however. They looked quite tall from his pictures i saw. I haven’t seen a sweet skunk grow in a long time though
Bs x Skunk sounds intriguing.
Have you smoked some of the bliss yet, how’s the high on the two different phenos?
Yeah I been running the bliss for a year or 2. Indoors, outdoors, and from clone. Both lean toward the sativa side from the terp base being menthol/eucalyptus/skunk. That profile drives uplifting, inspiration, heady, slightly zingy effect. The blueberry and trop fruit leaners are a bit more balanced.
Nice love those outdoor plants they have excellent structure with all that branching. They look so happy out there. Great job on those
I’ll definitely pick up some Flo/Temple Flo when that’s available. I looked on the seedbanks and didn’t see anything, but I thought I saw somewhere you said you have F13 work?
Great Lakes still has Flo
That cross hasn’t been public released. Send me a message if interested in those.
Sweet Skunk
Sweet ‘Skunk’ is a misnomer; it’s not a skunk at all. there is nothing skunky about the Sweet Skunk, it’s a Haze variant. Sweet Skunk was originally introduced by Spice of Life Seeds in 1994. The heritage was listed as Sensi Seed’s Big Skunk x Sweet Pink Grapefruit (a.k.a. Grapefruit) at the time, but Breeder Steve later speculated that the father was likely a NL x Haze male rather than a Big Skunk. This makes sense; the Southeast Asian “Hazey” bud structure is hard to ignore. Apparently, Steve had obtained two trays of clones for a grow, one labeled “Big Skunk” and the other “NL x Haze.” Upon planting and flowering the clones, one of the trays turned out to have a male that pollinated the crop, producing the seeds sold as Sweet Skunk. (Sometimes unplanned hybridization can yield outstanding individuals.) F1 seeds were planted, and an extreme sativa-leaning selection (SS #10) was chosen out of a roomful of indica-dominant girls. This clone is now known in BC as the original Sweet Skunk clone.
I don’t believe the SS/grapefruit thing myself, the chain of custody on the SS #10 clone is suspect, despite the claims. I did some preliminary DNA work years ago, and believe them to not be directly related. More DNA work is being done on both plants, so the unbiased story will be told once and for all shortly.
ISS is Federation’s version of a hybrid using the SS #10 clone, reportedly. The progeny are nice, but not like the original clone. The speculations/reports that I have heard are that the ISS is a white widow x SS hybrid.
Heres some great old information i found on icmag about island sweet skunk. Bunch of pages all about it. Pretty cool
Ill take some of that please
. I hope my flo comes out just as good. So mine is flo f5 not temple flo, must be different i guess.

Hey man I was just browsing multiverse beans and noticed your genetics up on the breeder list…cool stuff. Nice to see people like you communicating with us mere mortal home growers instead of giving the cold shoulder like many bigger names out there. That blue lemon sounds very interesting btw
Ya ive looked at that 1 too bet its good. I appreciate him interacting here as well.
I always get promotional emails from multiverse but they’ve never mentioned his company although they do have a ton of breeders over there. Good looking stock photos too
I know right i got too many seeds or id order something of his. Maybe he’ll let me test something this fall ill share if so.
Ill trade you a clone of his bubbleberry for a clone of your acai berry strain man. Maybe in September just lmk. Your acai has blueberry in it.
Shes going to produce some nice resin for ya!
