Do you have access to a grow store? They usually have additional goodies.

I am having good results with a tea that I let stand over night with about 2 tablespoons of black compost from the bottom of a worm bin in the grow room, 2 tablespoons of dried kelp meal, a small amount of liquified fish (Alaskan Brand Fish Fert) and a small amount of epsom salt, set in a gallon of water. Water the plants and then feed the plants.

There are threads on here that separate all of these things and time them out as well, but for a once a week treat, they will like it.

I bought my kelp on line pretty cheap. The fish stuff (stinky) is at home depot and epsom salt is at your pharmacy.

I’ve got fish bone n I heard buffer it with lime is good and my soil is bio \biz soil… I’ll get epsom salts tomorow… Thanx for the help and i heard tea was good for them. Still learning , but glad to know other peoples feeding stuff x Mechelle x

Kelp and fish for veg is a nice combo. Alaskan makes a liquid kelp as well as a fish fertilizer. That alone will get you pretty far.

I’m a big fan of neem and kelp teas for . Crab meal is great, as is oyster shell flour for calcium. Gypsum is great for calcium, sulfur, and pH buffering. Rock dusts offer minerals and help build the soil. Vermicompost or earth worm castings offer calcium as well as nutrients, growth hormones, and pathogen supression.

Woah, all of them at once ?, could get away with just using one only and molasses.

What have you done to your soil so far ? Just to clarify.

Let’s figure that out before before changing or suggest anything, then we will help you get going on a solid footing.

Also what is your current environment setup “space, lights, ect” have some shots, Lets get a thread started about your grow ?

And… can you test your pH?

I’ve got them all in 6 litre pots ,with bio\biz soil. Buffered with some lime, feeding tomatoes feed and a little malassis. I’ve got all in a bed room 5ft by 5 ft I have a 600 watt hps and going to add 400watt hps as 600watt isn’t covering enough light to all them.although its doing the best it can for them all, just now… As its still a no , no in Scotland just now. I’ve also got a couple of 50 watt led lights to . that I used for veg…added 600watt when I flipped them to 12 \ 12 , 3 weeks ago. My room walls are painted white and window covered up , with just enough space for air from window .also got a fan , but really don’t need it as the room is already aired well. Any help is big help here . x Mechelle

How many ? Yeah a 600 will be low for your “House Elf’s Bedroom” at 5x5, but depending on how many plants your running you may not need all that 5x5 space and could reduce it, instead of going up in light.

Also the lime could potentially end up screwing you, why did you add it ?, do you have low pH water ?

Tomato feed is fine foe now and if done in right amounts will work.

I am sold on the need for constant air flow.

Good airflow is essential, you should try to change the air entirely once every minute. An old pal once tried a soil grow in Glasgow (Maryhill) when he lived there. I turned up to see a load of scorched and dying plants. He used tap water and only checked the ph after he had serious problems. Many people don’t adjust water ph level in a soil grow but when the tap water hits a ph of around 9 like his did, you really will have problems. Citric acid is good for ph down, i found it more stable than vinegar. Canna do a commercial version laughingly called organic acid but it does a good enough job. I think it contains sulphuric acid going by the smell which is good cos the plants can consume sulphate as a nutrient. I used to visit Glasgrow down near the Trongate, they sell all sorts of grow kit if you don’t want to shop online. Good luck with your grow. A

I have got great air flow through the room , constant. As I’ve done a few grows over last past 2years. Last time I had 29 plants in 6 litre pots . they tirened out actually , so fat n pure frosty , white…! It looked real nice. When my e left , he took 90% of all the good seeds , fem , autos ect. He left me with ru bbish strains n took his whole collection with him. Left a bunch of regs and I had ,1sour livers ice ,auto, already grew one of them last year and I swear the collar was so thick, I had to me eyy on it for mold …sour livers and Chen bubbley of my fav , strains now… But as my x took , most of the stuff I.e seeds, so mostly regulars I’m doing just now. But all are 3 \4 foot tall and I’ve got 12 in 6 litre pots . as my x took all my good strains I’m not much left .! Its just few reg skunk xes. Was going to ask him if he can give me a few of his cuttings then off them… Its. Not that, I had a few good strains …I.e purple urkle , purple head. Candy . nl x nl ,…omg he’s got so many of my own… So I’m going to have to start all over a gain. ! Don’t mind just not got the funds , just now and its mostly a. Just regs ,. Got 3 males. I’ll need to ask him for the seeds back . or I’d even take cuttings. Don’t think he will… As he won’t want to help probbally.… Oh well I’ll try n grow anything… I.E mostly for pain and sleep. As my hips need pined and got Gaul stones in my bile duty and had broken tail bone .so something for pain …hate taking all this medication . all the time.well not nip your heads anymore… Sorry about that;-) …I’d be gratefully if anyone could give a price for seeds , just not working ATM as I don’t keep well health… But during to try some really good autos as done a bunch of them last year . I couldn’t believe how big and fat they got . brilliant. Soz for the book I wrote…just can’t wait to have any great strains to work with… As my x will be hard to get cuttings of him. Iappreciated… Thanx to everyone for all there helpts totally much appreciated. Mechelle xx

Plenty of air , getting through,! No problem…someone gave me bad advice , then. I only buff bottom of 6 litre pots , with very little lime. I’ve also got 12plants as well as all being 3 \ 4 n half ft high… Left them for a week without any water . so they were bit droopy . I’ve been watering and feeding them after that. Just picking up now . been held back for a bit there, now starting to bud up better now… They had been really frosty all over till they dried up… Now picking up faster now. Hope they all get better. Thanx again doll. For your input, so much help … I needed … Not slept in 2 nights , going to go try and get head down for a bit… Talk soon. I hope xmechelle x

Glasgrow, is pretty expensive, I sometimes went to Govan Hydroponics with my ex, as don’t stay to far from it , I actually prefer eBay \gumtree sites etc. , I like Cob’s but most of best light’s are in the US and to expensive for me, I hope the UK has more choice with LEDs in general soon. Thanx Mechelle x

Just a few more pics for yous to see . not great but still learning. X

this little 29 watt led light is great its got a magnets on the back of them and a hook at top but I’ve got 4 of the and just put them in the four corners of the room I use…they work on just 3 rechargeable batteries. Obviously the leaf isn’t ment to be there lol x great stuff guys
