Just a little hush hush bush of kush breeding project

Welcome fine folks of OG. I’ve been working on a strain for a good few years on and off now. Always managed to hang onto a few of these beans.

These are I think what you would call s3 at this point. (it’s been a feminised strain from the off) and I’ll be looking to do the same again here using a colloidal silver spray on the best looking lady out of these 2. So far not a single herm has been seen along the way.

These will veg out alongside my DWC strawberry banana autos in flower. And I plan to take cuts before flipping and reversing for a smoke run after

The ones who stop in and get Involved along the journey here will be the first on the list to receive a pack (providing you don’t mind chucking a test thread up when you receive them)

Priority after this will go to whoever wants some for the seed fridge/future grows.

Good to hear that your girl made it to s3 without herm traits. What strain is it? Good luck on the seed increase and sharing the beans after your project. :facepunch::boom:

You’ll probably be the first to get a pack of beans bro. I’ll send a couple to you so @PotNoodleMuncher has one with only 1 postage :joy:

She’s been showing good traits most the way. Short, stocky and stinky. Just how I like em. My plants that is :joy:

The strain is kind of a secret at the moment. Hence the hush hush bush of kush. Both parents of the original cross are kush strains. Appreciate the good luck :crossed_fingers::100: keep your eyes peeled and see if she looks like something you’d want to grow and as you’re here from the start line you’ll be one of first in line

Thankyou very much mate. Glad to have you on board :sunglasses::beers: might be a little slow starting here as you see the size so far. Wasn’t even sure they would crack the beans as they’re a couple years old now

Off to a fine start man nice! :raised_hands: The baby’s seem super happy and healthy.

Im super curious to see what you have been working on so I’ll pull up a chair and light up a fatty for the ride.
Im impressed to see fem’d stuff stable this far along way to go on the selection growmie

This seems like an interesting thread to follow.

Good genes from the off brother. The original beans came from exotic seeds and AMS. That’s the only clue you’re getting :sunglasses::yum: they do seem happy and healthy now. These will veg out in the 1litre pots they’re in. Gardenline compost with a hydroton cover as there is a thrip presence. We grow petit pois nearby and the trips seem to naturally head to them  instead of the bud. No complaints from me :joy:
Honestly I’m impressed to see them stable this long and to still be showing good signs of homozigosity. My humidity is a little low for seedlings so I’ll be keeping a close eye. Surely you can get pumice easy. It’s easily available in the UK? I might make a list of watcher/testers at the top of this thread so I know who to send to when these come down.

I may well throw some occasional adventures from our canal boat adventures :sunglasses::motor_boat: I’m currently working on patterns for the forecabin seat cushions. (it’s a refloat, so full rebuild on the interior, some structural work and a lot of cleaning grimey horrible nastiness :joy:. Otherwise just the hush, bush and kush :smirk:
Cheers for the good luck

I am also here to follow along. I love a good seed project as I just currently finished one myself. I can say ive never smoked any kush ever. I had to quit smoking for 2 decades due to my employment so I missed out on a lot of what was going around in the early 2000’s. Good luck on your grow it sounds interesting.

Oh man even the thought of thrips makes me want to crawl out of my skin lol . Lost everything to them not to long ago smh. Glad to hear you seem to have banker plants nearby to keep them occupied.
And I’m in central US, none of the local retailers carry it, if you can find it local its small bags with a big price tag. Exotic genetics and AMS hmm, well from what I’ve gathered Exotic does great work and if ams is Anti Mold Strain then I’m definitely intrigued.

Ooh what did you finish yourself? :eyes: That must absolutely suck 20 years plus without a smoke. I can do about 2 hours :joy: thanks for the good luck man :sunglasses::four_leaf_clover:

Hold steady. I’m still doing the upholstery :joy: glad to have you man

Anything will be good practice. Remember less is definitely more when you’re growing. Chuck me a tag on wherever you’re journalling the solo cup run bro and I’ll watch :coffee:

I started smoking probably early 2000s properly so there was a fair bit about. The kinda stuff you’d be hitting on a bong in the woods with your mates kinda smoke. Otherwise it was cheese, blues, blue cheese etc. I absolutely love a kush couch lock. And you gotta love a bit of mystery. I am the phantom after all :ghost:
Thanks for the congrats and I’ll get the kettle on :coffee:

There is a couple floating about but they’re not causing too much damage. And we have a toddler and a baby on the way plus a big dopey German Shepherd :dog: it doesn’t stand for anti mold strain but I nor anyone I know that have grown them out have had mold.

You’ll get the idea of bush of kush in 4-6 weeks :smirk: the price tag on these will be a big fat £0. It’s never been about the money

I did a cross on a DoSiDos33 from Barneys Farm to a Glueystone from BrothersGrimm Seeds. The Glueystone has a great potency with a good yield and the Dosidos33 has a good plant structure with a very good yield and would be good to wash for hash. Im drying the buds now to get ready to get the seeds out. After dropping just a few of the Dosidos33 buds on the trim bin, I already got a small pile of hash in the bottom bin. I think it will be a good cross.
