Hey what’s going on everybody I got a question how would I know what the flowering time is on a strians that I’ve never grown before there’s no information online about it. Seems like the strains I’m growing right now they were harvested after 77 days and this is my second time growing them out they’re excellent yielders but they bud very slow. I’m used to growing strains that are 67 days or less. 11 weeks is a long time. I guess it just takes multiple runs to find out what the flowering time is. Right now the plants are struggling and I’m trying to diagnose them.

If you grow the same strain more than a few times can pick up on the different stages during flower and keep track. Also can manipulate the dark period to speed up the ripening by days and flip to flower when she’s more mature

Mother’s of berries cross with sour lifesaver and blue Moon rocks. Mother of berries is like a 60 to 65 days sour Life saver is 45 to 50 days so I assumed it was a quick flower but it took more than 77 days last time
How can I manipulate the dark period it’s on a 12-12 cycle but I’ve been seeing people online do 11 -13

Yeah man increasing the dark period by an hour or two will speed up the ripening… I’ve done it a few times and plant finished roughly a week faster than other one on 12/12 but not much more than that

are you doing this for strians that are long flower or short flower. I saw DJ short does it for blueberry 11-13 cycle .
Don’t try to tell them. Let them tell you
