Just re potted my clones

I am using 2 gallon pots? I think the plant size is about right at end of flowering. And i had a huge debate withmyself on pot size. 1,2, or 3 gallon. Settled on the 2.

@HydroPower the pots you see in flowering are larger, my bad. Thats why i stepped my pot size down to 2 gallon, and adding plants. Still learning and refining…lol

And guys, i welcome the critism (-: its all good, this is a learning process.

Yes that confused me little bit… those 2 gallons should be optimal for soil. With coco they could be even smaller. I’m considering plants of size you’ve shown in finish.

That was my bad. My area is still evolving, damn near daily…lol started in a closet…lol

2gal for soil!? Jesus. I dont even like 5 gals. Too small. Now those 20 gals. There you go. Cant get a ton of coffee out of a coffee tin that only holds a pound.

Everything is relative… MysteryMoog is basically using Sea of Green with only 7 days of vegging max…

You be one busy grower. 2 gallon seems about right for what yer doing I’d say. Sweet.

Looking good @MysteryMoog! You probably already know, but scrap that carpet when you get time. It hides to many nasties. Use plenty of humic with the smaller pots and silica helps also. Roots can take a beating in small pots especially when being moved around.

Yes, when i get settled on the set up, and where i have my cheezy walls set up, ill pull carpet, paint flat white, and put putting cement board on the floor.

Hi MM, I have grown two different breeders version of Russian Mammoth sunflower seeds.
Burpees and Park Seeds…they both grow very fast. They get to about 10 to 12 feet tall. Their flowers are as big as a very large dinner platter! They look spectacular when mature. Be aware that any strong wind will easily snap the stem because of the weight of the huge flowers. I use stakes on some of mine so they can withstand storms.

I also like to grow smaller varieties in containers. Here is one of my favorites: Chianti sunflower

I think I got ahold of burpee seeds. I have them in cups right now, about to move them into 2 gallon containers until I can move them outside, which looks to be about a month off.

I really enjoy growing sunflowers and am wondering how your mammoths are doing?

How are the plants coming along? Are you using a super soil or nutes? I also grow in 2 gal with FF products, but contemplating going with Coast of Maine for water and teas only.

My plants are doing wonderful :+1: I have moved 800 miles though, so sporting a new, larger set up:+1:
