Nope only had barely over 4000 miles on it. Insurance company already had it towed. Then Rob finds out his insurance didn’t cover a rental. I would think full coverage would, especially at $250 a month with no accidents or tickets.

Man!! Don’t get me started on insurance companies. When a woman backs out of a parking space right into the side of your Jeep it’s a cut and dried case. Right?
Not when she does business with the same company you do and is from a wealthy family driving a sports car worth more than I make in two years probably…
Then, all of a sudden it’s “You were driving too fast for her to see you before she backed out into your car.” “But she pushed my Jeep 5’ to the side. You can see the tracks on the pavement!”. “That was your fault too. She freaked out and slammed her gas pedal to the floor.”
I guess I should be glad she didn’t need a full drive train replacement…

According to the police the guy was insured. It’s just a matter of cost, I can’t imagine it being more than the value of the truck, damn thing was worth 40,000.
Bent frame could effect that also……

If I had had the money I’d have rented a lawyer. With the total higher monthlies on my protection money for a couple of years, I could have got a lawyer but I didn’t have funds on hand.
There was no accident report made by the police because it was in a college parking lot.
The cops said unless there was injuries they couldn’t do anything on campus property. Like it was some kind of foreign nation sitting in the middle of MO.
I asked if they would respond to an assault in progress. They said yes. It was a dang woman though so… no assault. lol

Happened to me… a guy straight up veered right into the side of my car with his truck as i was passing in the lane next to him (2 lane 1 way) … we both had allstate… guess wtf happened!?!
Insurance company magically found it was a mutual fault…
Hey allstate… you dont have GOOD HANDS!!!

May be better off, if theres a lot of damage, to let them total it and start over. If they FIX it then, when it comes trade in time, you have a wrecked vehicle. Just something to think about.
