It is real.
The plants veg with the light amounts “calculated” in.
Sunscreen is expensive to make, and they don’t over-produce.

We have a grip of commercial nurseries in surrounding towns that sell to Home Depot’s and the likes. When you drive by the smell of fertilizer is definitely present. Seems like all the ornamentals/potted plants we’ve ever gotten from those big box stores are extremely happy until a couple weeks later when the fertilizer has been washed away then they start dying. Last couple plants we got we repotted instantly, placed in broken sun/shade and they’re still hanging on.
I’m pretty sure they were completely shocked going from a consistent 75-80F under six 2’ t5s to full sun with same temps. This morning they are all happy. Luckily my parents are taking care of them until I get settled in up here and have a space ready. Most likely let them sex and veg outdoors, than pull mom clones in a couple months. It will work out.
Nor cal, congratulations on the move.
A lot closer to my stomping grounds.
Are you staying permanently?
Looks like everyone survived the trip.
Good hunting.
That’s exactly right the fertilizer doesn’t hold in the soil matrix very well has to do with charges associated with the chemical, ya you can get some with time-release granules and that helps to a certain degree but will eventually give out also! It’s said only a small fraction of ferts people put in their lawns gets to the plant the rest is washed away with rain and irrigation into major waterways causing huge problems in the gulf areas!
Sad. After decent rains, news casters suggest staying out of the ocean for at least 72 hours in so cal. The ocean turns a pukey brown/green color and a layer of stinky foam floats on the surface for a couple days. All from run-off. We’re all messed up😜.
Agree with ya on that one @Kalgrae! Check out or google the " Dead Zone" in in the gulf if ya already haven’t done so ! That’s why I changed my gardening practice and lawn care maintenance years ago!
Hi all. It’s been a while since I’ve updated. Been very busy. Not much to report really aside from culled several males and since leaving SoCal for NorCal everything that stayed female is now flourishing outdoors. My mom did some prints of the x18 by @buryseeds the C99xRomberry from @Muleskinner and his Fat Grape as well. Enjoy your week everyone and be cool to one that try’s to ruin their own day.
@ReikoX auto flower doing its thing but not very well. Needs much better soil.
@Muleskinner fat grape.
@Baudelaire ESB, @Muleskinner Hurkle and @buryseeds x18 ibl
Leaf pressings/prints my took of the fat grape, C99xRomberry and x18. X18 is showing an amazing amount of vigor.
Need to be transplanted yet. One of the nevs went to a friends farm along with a diesel moonshine and one of the hurkles.
