Thank you!!! She is a Turken. I might be biased but i think shes about the pertiest thing ever. Which is ironic cuz when i researched Turkens i was appalled at first.

Bantoms maybe, not sure. I’ve only had silver laced wyondott, barred rock with one white barred rock rooster which i had to give away. And now Turkens and Isa Browns.
Here’s a couple pics of the BR Rooster.
The hens loved this dude, but he didn’t like me very much once he figured out he was a rooster. Before that he was a lovey chicken.

@nick131740 @Kasper0909 all the regular hens and roosters didn’t care about anyone but the little guys would chase anything on wheels or legs around the property

Do chickens, or turkens, ever swim? They don’t exactly have the feet for it, lol, but… I have no idea if a chicken would even float

They will stand in shallow water when its hot but for the most part they seem to stear clear of deeper water.

Seems like roosters are usually pretty “protective” unless you pin them and make them submit.

Millet is another favorite cover crop, especially if you have chickens. Comes up like crazy, adds cool esthetics, and the birds love them.

Teddy bear sunflower. I think maybe they are stunted cuz they were planted the same time. But super pretty.
Turken comb and wattle are getting big, glad she already started laying or I’d be wondering if she was a rooster.
